“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.” Trailady

The God she named, "Love"

“Because [she] hath set [her] love upon Me, therefore will I deliver [her]: I will set [her] on high, because [she] hath know My name.
[She] shall call upon Me, and I will answer [her]: I will be with [her] in trouble; I will deliver [her], and honour [her].
With long life will I satisfy [her], and shew [her] My salvation.”
(Ps. 91:14-16).

The following is another example of the testimonies from people who have truly come to find Jesus. This testimony comes from Rose, a Muslim woman who recently found Jesus, who quit her career—along with her husband, Masoud, who also found Jesus almost at the same time that she did—and who now has a ministry with Masoud to reach Muslims for Jesus. This is a beautiful story from a woman who came to deeply trust and love Jesus at an early age. And the inability to have Him caused her much grief, and even suffering pain and sickness for not having His love. Her sickness was cured and her pains were healed when He filled her with His love. (Her malady is humanity’s, yours and mine.) Her English is somewhat imperfect, but I tried to transcribe her testimony as it came from her mouth, even with its grammatical imperfections. But a few times here and there I did add words for clarity that is lost in writing words because they are detached from the voice intonations.

“My story starts when I was 19 years old. So I got to the point in my life that…I got to the end of my life. I had a lot of questions, but I didn’t have the answers for it. So I wanted like I didn’t know why I was created. Why I came into the world? What was the purpose of creation? Through a lot of things that happened in my life I was broken, and in my heart was no hope. And I got to the point, I thought that, ending my life it’s the best thing to do, because I didn’t want to continue the life that I was living.

So I planned it and I decided to try and commit suicide. So a few minutes right before I do it, a thought came to my mind, and this thought told me, ‘You tried everything, why don’t you call upon your Creator? And why don’t you ask your Creator to come and reveal Himself? So, I thought to myself, ‘I don’t have any other way, I don’t have any other options. Why not? If there is a God, and this God has made me, maybe He can come and tell me why.’

So I started crying out in my whole being. I cried out with my whole being. I started weeping and crying, and I said, ‘God, who are You? If You don’t show up today, my life is done. I’m going to kill myself today. And as I was crying and weeping all of a sudden I felt the room filled with the presence of God. And a person walked into this room, and as soon as He walked to the room, and love came in. And this love that I was receiving from Him, it was so powerful. And it was so overwhelming that even my flesh on my physical body couldn’t handle it. I thought ‘I’m going to die’ because it was so intense, it was so powerful.

So I was weeping; I realized and I started getting understanding and revelation that there is a plan for me; there is a destiny for me. And I am not an accident. And God put me here. I may not know it now, but I will know it one day. There was this hope that came in. And I fell in love with this God, and I wanted to have Him. But I realized immediately that there is something between me and God that is not letting me to have Him completely. And at that moment I realized that it is my sin. And it was the sins I have committed. So immediately I started asking for forgiveness because I fell in love with this God, so much that I wanted to have Him.

So I asked for forgiveness and repentance. I asked Him to forgive me. And all of my sins from my life came to my eyes from the childhood, and I repented all of them. And immediately, I felt and I knew that I am forgiven, and I can have Him now. And the fear left me and I had no fear to give my life to God. And immediately I committed my life to Him. And I told Him, ‘God, I want You to become my God. I want You to become the One who lead me, who do I need to marry to, and I want to experience the unity and the fulfillment of my life with You.’ And I ask Him to reveal Himself to me down the road in my life, so I get to know Him personally.

So after this encounter my life got changed. I had a hope. Everything got beautiful around me. And I no longer wanted to commit suicide, even though I still had a lot of questions and I didn’t have the answer for it, but I knew that there is an answer for me. So, I called His name, ‘Love’, because I didn’t know what is His name. Because when He came into my room that day, He did not tell me what is His name. He just showed me His nature, His character. He showed me He is love, and He is not condemning me.

So years went by, and because I loved this God, and I didn’t know better, I didn’t know anything else. So I thought I want to show Him back my love. So I started to become religious, doing practicing all the rituals and doing my prayers, and the Islamic prayers, waking up in the morning and doing the fasting because I wanted to please Him, because I wanted to show my love to Him.

But no matter how much I did it, I could not get close, I could not have the same experience again. I never felt that I am getting closer and having the same experience…. So because I couldn’t even think that there was another God [beside the god of Islam], because I believed there was only one God, and I believed that God [who] came into my room is the God that my religion was. And I started doing all the rituals to show Him love, and at the same time I was very afraid, because years back when I got married with my husband, I looked back to my life, and I realized that everything I asked Him that day He gave it to me. I had received it. And I was afraid that maybe He’d get angry if I don’t do what He is asking me, and He takes away these things from me, not knowing that the love of God is unconditional, and I didn’t know that.

One night I was in the bed, and I wanted to go to bed, I started talking to this God the same way that I talked to Him that day from my heart and in my language. And immediately the same presence—it wasn’t the same encounter, but it was the same presence that came into that room similar to that—came again. And I knew that I can talk to Him in my own language and I can just have this relationship and talking to Him.

So my husband and I we got married, and we moved to Canada for the hope of having freedom and peace. Even though we had everything, but there was this void inside of us, that changing the country, changing the city, changing your friends, changing the environment around us didn’t help. When we came to Canada 2 ½ years later everything is all right. I had a good marriage, I had a great husband, I had money, the country was good, I had amazing friends that we encountered there. And there were Christian friends that came into our lives, and they helped us so much. And they showed us love and they supported us in a foreign country, that we never felt that we were alone. But when they talked about Jesus we closed our ears and closed our eyes. And we said, ‘We don’t want to hear. Don’t talk about your Jesus. Keep your Jesus.’ And I couldn’t reconcile that maybe they are so loving [compared to] other categories of people basically. I couldn’t reconcile that maybe it’s because of their heart for God and their God maybe. So, that’s why we started debating with them and we tell them, ‘No,… Islam is the true’, and ‘We don’t want to hear about your Jesus.’ Actually we cut our relationship with some of them. But this friend of ours continued with us and keep talking about Jesus, but our heart was closed….

2 ½ years that I was in Canada basically. And I was driving home, and I looked back to my life. I realized I had everything. But why am I not having peace? Why am I not having joy? I tried everything. I tried everything that the people in the world they do it to have fun, but I’m not getting anything, I wasn’t satisfied inside of me. And I was so broken again. That day all those questions that pushed me to decide to try committing suicide, they came back to me. And again I had no answer for them. I remember I was driving, and it was a fall season. And outside it was beautiful, the orange leaves and the red leaves so beautiful, but inside of me it was dark and it wasn’t beautiful. And I was driving and I went a little forward and see the sky, and I looked up to heaven I said, ‘Who are You? Why are You sitting up there? Why don’t you come down and become a human being like us? So that You can experience the life like us, so You can experience pain, so You can understand our pain, so when I come to You, You can understand? Why are You sitting up there and You don’t reveal Yourself? Why do You not come and why did You make humanity? Why did You create humanity to go through all this suffering and You are just enjoying Yourself up there?’ And I had no idea that day, I had no idea that actually God had manifested Himself in the person of Jesus Christ for one of the reasons is that.

So, I got home and I was so down again. And I didn’t know why I am sick, I was sick physically, and no one knew why I’m sick. The doctors told me they don’t know, ‘It’s a stress’. But, I didn’t have any stress. Until I got home and started to talk to my husband about God, for some reason. And my husband said, ‘Which God? I don’t believe there is a God.’ [I] not knowing that he actually right before I come home he started thinking the same thing ‘What is the purpose of life?’ So, when he told me that there was no God I was shocked because I knew there is a God because I had experienced Him one day. But [now] I couldn’t believe there is a God. I couldn’t show that God is real in my life. And he [my husband] couldn’t tell me that there was no God, because he couldn’t prove that to me because I had experienced Him. So my husband and I, we decided after the long conversation to search for ourselves, once for all, that we had never did this before, we never looked for God. We [had] never sought Him. So we decided to look for Him. And we made a little, very simple prayer. [This] was our prayer, that ‘The God who created us, if You do exist, if You are real, show us which way. We are at the point in our lives that we don’t really care who says the truth, we just want to know the truth.’

So we called our Christian friend and we asked him if we can go to church with him. So we go to church and there was this banner hanging on the wall. And I looked at the banner, and the banner said, ‘Joy comes by knowing God.’ And at that point I realized that that’s it. The joy is missing from my life; and that banner is telling me that joy comes by knowing God. I started crying and I realized the same thing happened to my husband, Masoud, and it was just a confirmation that we were in the right way.

We started reading the Bible. Like after one month my dreams had changed. I could sleep. You know, I couldn’t sleep before. Now all of the sudden I was falling asleep. I could sleep in peace. My dreams got changed. My dreams were peaceful. No longer war, or running away. But it was so peaceful. And one day we were coming back from the church, and Masoud said, ‘Have you noticed in the last one month only since we decided to look for God a lot of things has changed in our lives, and we have so much peace.’ And we were like, ‘Yeah.’

This journey continued and we started reading the Bible until one day it was a snowy, cold night. Outside was not beautiful, because it was cold; but inside now this time was so beautiful because my husband and I started reading the book of Romans together from chapter one to the chapter eight. When we started reading it, all of a sudden, I saw all the answers of to my questions it’s written in there, the questions that one time I didn’t have the answers and pushed me to kill myself. Now it is written in eight chapters of this big book.

And I couldn’t believe, and I’m like, ‘How come I never knew about this Book before?’ I never knew there was a book like called Bible. And on that night we were weeping and crying, and we felt three times somebody walked into the room, and the moment He came there was a revelation of what we were reading on those chapters.

At the time we didn’t know that’s the presence of the Holy Spirit. But we were filled and refilled with the presence of God. And as we were reading my husband dropped the Bible. And we were in Romans chapter 7 and 8. And he dropped the Bible and he started weeping and he said, ‘Rose, Jesus truly is the Son of God.’ And he wept and that hit me. And I started weeping. And we didn’t know why we were weeping for 5, 6 hours. And the more we wept and more we cried we got lighter and lighter. And that moment we realized, we remembered that Jesus also in the gospel asked the disciples, ‘Who do you think that I am?’ And Peter said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of God.’ And Jesus said, ‘Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven.’ So that moment we realized what happened to Masoud was the Father in heaven revealing that to him. Because he didn’t know how he knows that, he just knew it. And so I didn’t go to work the next day and so we woke up. And from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. so we read the Bible. Because we said, ‘We have to finish reading the rest of this book.’

And we continued reading it. And now I had more questions. ‘What do you mean like the blood of Jesus is cleansing our sins?’ And, ‘What happened on the cross?’ And we got to the book of Hebrews, and all the answers were there. And, but for me when we got to the first letter of John the apostles, to his letter, I started reading his letter. I encountered the same God that came to my room. Because I called Him, ‘Love’. And I didn’t know anyone else, I never heard that God is love. Until that day that I read it in that book that God is love. And it started explaining to me, and I knew that was the God that my whole life, that that ten years I was looking and searching for Him. And that touched my heart. And then Masoud, when we finished the Bible, Masoud asked me, ‘We finished this Sunday the part that one, this is where we are right now, what should we do?’ And in my mind I’m thinking, ‘Maybe we should go read the other religions.’ But my heart was so touched. I knew that it is Jesus Christ is the truth. And I prepared myself to say, ‘We should go and read the other religions’, and I was about to say that that something else came out of my mouth. And that shook me. And when I opened my mouth, this is what I said, ‘Masoud, I think we believed in our heart, but we need to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.’ And the moment I said it it hit me and I was convinced that we have to give our lives to the One we fell in love with.

~ ~ ~

As we were reading the Bible, one of the things that happened to me, it was the dreams that I had. And I started having the dreams of Jesus. And that was very interesting for me. Why Jesus? Because I had asked God to show me the truth. And now Jesus is coming to my dream. In one of the dreams that I had I was in an intersection. And I was on this side and Jesus was on the other side. On the other side it was prostitutes, drug addicts, the homeless people, the dirt, the sinners. They were there and Jesus was there hugging them, kissing them, crying with them. And He was with them. So, I was on this side, and I thought to myself, ‘Why is He among the sinners? Why is He hugging—He is a holy man—why is He hugging all those sinners?’ And I was like, this is weird.  And then I saw every person that Jesus hugged and kissed and showed love, basically they were happy, running away happy. One girl that was running coming toward me this side, so I stopped [her] and I asked [her], “Hey, can you tell me what’s going on here?’ And she told me, ‘From 9 years old I was like selling myself and I was in prostitution, drug addict, my life was messed up. And this man’—and she was pointing at Jesus—‘this man saved me and helped me. And He is the truth.’ And that was my dream.

Another dream that I had and that as I said, I was sick and no one really knew what’s going on. From head to toe I was in pain 24/7. And I had a dream of Jesus, that Jesus came and He smiled at me, and He told me, ‘Rose, you are healed.’ And I remember that I laughed in the dream. I didn’t believe it. And He smiled at me again and He said, ‘You are healed.’ And I woke up the next day and I had no pain. And it’s been more than five years now.”

Does God cooperate with Satan in our destruction?

“Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely Thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.” (Jer. 4:10).

“O LORD, Thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: Thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.” (Jer. 20:7,8).

“Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;
That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from Me through their idols.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from Me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning Me; I the LORD will answer him by Myself:
And I will set My face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel.” (Eze. 14:4-9).

“They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of His children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not He thy Father that hath bought thee? hath He not made thee, and established thee?…
They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they Him to anger.
They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.” (Deut. 32:5,6,16-18).

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2Thess. 2:8-12).

“Charismatic Practice
The rise of Evangelical and Pentecostal forms of religion — first in the United States, and in the last half century in Latin America, Africa and parts of Asia — is one of the most important religious, cultural and political shifts of the 20th century. Hundreds of millions of people now belong to Pentecostal churches, and hundreds of millions more worship in other churches that have adopted more Evangelical styles and beliefs. In many places, these forms of Christianity have become the primary religious competitors to Catholicism.
The story too little told, however, is the degree to which Catholic practice has been reshaped by Evangelical practice and belief in many parts of the world. That form of Catholic practice, known as Charismatic Catholicism, is characterized to varying degrees in different contexts by its strong appeal to emotion and personal witness, emphasis on Bible reading and personal relationship with Jesus, and worship that includes waving of hands and intense prayer, healing by laying on of hands. In more limited contexts, it is also associated with a Pentecostal tendency toward the “prosperity Gospel,” the belief that God rewards Christians with economic well being if they follow God’s path.”

“He that turneth away his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” (Prov. 28:9).

“In 2011, there were an estimated 584 million Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians worldwide. They made up 9 percent of the world’s population and 27 percent of all Christians. There were 279 million Pentecostals and over 300 million Charismatics (the figures for Charismatics include both the Charismatic Movement in the historic churches as well as the neocharismatic movement). Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity is second in size only to the Roman Catholic Church.”

But with Jesus’ reproofs He gives the yearning of His heart. “Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.” (Mic. 2:10).

“For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.” (Isa. 30:15).

Being slain in the spirit, and all the self-manufactured mental gymnastics that come with Charismatic Christianity, are too much emotion and stress on the mind. It is unhealthy, and it shortens the lifespan of the brain. The brain is an exceptionally sensitive organ and one greatly susceptible to damage. Long-term anger, stress, shame, guilt, anxiety, substances (alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, refined sugar and starch, street drugs and even pharmaceuticals), fear, despair, sorrow or regret or remorse, all take a heavy toll on the brain and ultimately cause it permanent damage. No less does the bewilderment and repeated angst that come with trying hard to get God’s ear without being humbled by His Law and surrendering to it. Dementia, schizophrenia, delirium, and delusion results because the vitality of the brain gets spent.

In the good environment of love, the brain can take an endless barrage of stress, remorse, and fear. Our bodies are amazingly resilient and can take a lot of punishment. But, in the wrong environment that is devoid of being loved, the brain has no resource to revive itself from the toll emotion takes on it. And the correct environment comes only with Jehovah’s redemption, once we surrender to His righteous Law and then surrender to the merciful cross His Son died on.

Only when we surrender to the almighty will of God, as revealed in His Law and scriptures, will we have eternal love. To those who will be humbled, He will bring the need of a Saviour from our sins. Then He will put the gift of God into their spirit in the form of repentance and reassurance. This sequence is the science of salvation that the Bible repeatedly presents to the heart yearning for God’s love, yearning for heaven’s acceptance and His help to be rid of sin. A knowledge of sin—that thing that causes us to distrust God and to serve the deceiver, recognizing the only true way of life and acknowledging our ownership in rebellion, sorrowing for the death we have caused the heart of God, determining to be like Him, hating our garments spotted with the flesh—all open us to the life and power of the only true God. We have opened ourselves to the validity of the Law of righteousness; and we have brought delight to the heart of our Creator.

“But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.” (Jer. 9:24).

Has the LORD changed His mind from lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness? Are they no longer His delights? Does He no longer exercise His church into those efforts? “I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob [the supplanter, the deceiver, the thief] are not consumed.” (Mal. 3:6).

All who allow Him to change their heart find their life becoming beautiful and full of meaning. They are delivered from “him who that had the power of death, that is, the devil.” (Heb. 2:14).

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rom. 8:1,2). Redemption is real; but religious emotions are imaginary redemption.

The charismatic religion is no different from the merciless idolatry of the Old Testament heathen religions. The Charismatic movement was born out of the rejection of God’s express will in His Ten Commandments. In the mid-1800s the Protestant churches abrogated God’s Law when they refused to accept Sabbath reform. When they turned away their hearts from the seventh-day Sabbath, they turned their foot to trample it, and they rejected God who hallowed that day, setting it apart from the world’s day of Sun worship.  “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” (Ex. 20:11).

“For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest My fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.” (Jer. 4:3,4).

His plea to Protestantism today comes from His prophets of old speaking from the Book that the Protestants profess to love. “If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto Me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of My sight, then shalt thou not remove. And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in Him, and in Him shall they glory.” (Jer. 4:1,2).

But, because they turned away their hearts from God’s rightful condemnation of their sin of Sabbath-breaking, they opened their hearts to the deceiver who convinced them that all the warnings and promises of the Old Testament are only for ancient Israel and today those promises and warnings are only good for the modern Israeli. The commandments and condemnations and punishments aren’t applicable to the Christian today because he is a “believer” and “saved”. God never punishes His saved children. Such unbiblical fallacies! In actuality, He is already punishing the Protestants and will soon unleash His full wrath on the Charismatic movement. They are already receiving the Mark of the beast in their forehead.

“Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree….” (Isa. 57:5).

“He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?” (Isa. 44:20).

“Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of Mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.” (Isa. 50:11).

“Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.” (Isa. 50:10).

The fear of the Lord is His conviction in the soul. Conviction of sin makes us very happy and healthy, as does reverence for God and His Law. “Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him.” (Ps. 103:13). But, all the emotions in the world can never replace redemption, which puts the gift of God in the heart, the Law of God in the mind, and the seal of God in the forehead. Movies, music, and sports celebrities give no love and living touch; and therefore they can give no life. If they give no life, then they are giving death. Likewise, a religion of emotion gives no life, rather it over stresses the mind and drains it of life. But, one touch from our Creator gives redemption, which restores the mind with our Creators’ life and peace. Such a soul has subjected itself to the Law of God and surrendered to His crucified Son, and received the Father’s loving approbation through Jesus. The charismatic heathen religion, however, is a carnal religion. It has not submitted to the righteousness of God. Therefore, it provides no gift of God; it has no heavenly supernatural element or principle; and therefore it is all religion of the flesh and death.

“To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.…
But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Rom. 8:6-8,11).

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23).

And God waits a long time because He “is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish.” (2Pet. 3:9).

But, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness” (2Pet. 3:9), “but that all should come to repentance.” (2Pet. 3:9). He is waiting for their surrender to His written will that will bring them all to forgiveness and peace with Him.

But, it is also true that He will follow through with His warnings and threats. When the whole religious world, especially the Christian world, is wholly bent on worshiping Satan in his Spiritual Formation/Charismatics/Mass; when the whole world has turned their ear away from hearing God’s Law because they will not surrender to His “chastisement of our peace” (Isa. 53:5); when the whole world follows after the Beast, then God has no choice but to bring upon the world their destruction.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2Pet. 3:10).

“For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from Me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning Me; I the LORD will answer him by Myself.” (Eze. 14:7).

Does God work as a deceiver because He speaks through the charismatic prophets to the people? No, He only lets the people do what they determined in their heart to do. He lets them hear what their uncircumcised ears are itching to hear. He let the devil loose from the bottomless pit, who immediately set to work at deluding the whole world to follow his high priest of Christian sorcery, his 450 priests of Christian Ashtoreth, and his 400 pentecostal prophets of Christian Baal.

And the day comes when Jesus will throw the Beast of Catholicism and the false prophet of Protestantism into the lake of fire that burns the heart and mind with devil possession forever and ever until they overdose on emotional and psychological stressors. Then the wages of sin will be death.

“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:9-11).

Then the Lord will destroy them all with the brightness of His coming and burn up the earth and the wicked works that accompanied the global occult religion of charismatic Catholicism.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS….
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” (Rev. 19:11-16,19-21).

How eternally fatal and evil is Christmas and all the other holidays?

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2:14,15).

What do these paintings have in common? The seduction of children.

Child sacrifices, the subjugation, enslavement, prostitution, drug addiction of children are Satan’s methods to vent his wrath upon the human race. Children are indefensible against Satan’s earthly agencies. They don’t have the physical, mental, spiritual resources to fend off the powers of hell. They are easy prey.

Children are closer to the image of God than anyone else of the human race. They, better than adults, represent the innocence and purity of Adam in his incorruption. Therefore, Satan must destroy the children in every respect. And he involves adults to accomplish the total ruin of their own souls, as well as that of the children, thus ensuring all future generations of total ruin.

But, you may ask, “How does Christmas and all the pagan holidays ruin children? It seems joyful and full of compassion for God and for others.” What I want people to know is that “good times” aren’t all that they appear to be. When a huckster steals from someone, doesn’t he come across as jovial, thus influencing the mind of the victim to feel a sense of well-being? Aren’t frauds done out in the open, simply by sounding and looking like they are in the best interest of those who lose their property or wealth? It happens every day. The Isidorian Decretals took 700 years to be found as a fraud. But, by the time the language of the document was studied and the fraud was realized, the Church’s heist of government over Europe was dug in and impossible for the people to overthrow.

So, subtle, though innocuous, power over minds ends in the destruction of the kingdom of God and the establishment of the “rulers of the darkness of this world, ...spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph. 6:12). The Holy Roman Empire’s poverty, ignorance, misery, and religious-occult superstitions are a perfect example of the insurrection of Satan’s empire and his reign of spiritualism over the government of God and His holy Law. Such an example is very pertinent today, because John and Paul both wrote that that same evil power of the Dark Ages would be restored just before Christ’s second advent.

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
If any man have an ear, let him hear….
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” (Rev. 13:1-9, 11-15).

Where does the popular holidays of papal Rome take the children of Protestant nations? The subjugation of children and the overthrow of the God-given leadership and guidance of their parents. It will cause the return of the most horrific occult practices of Baal and Moloch worship. The full re-establishment of the ancient empire of Nimrod, including hanging beheaded heads on the trees during high holy days, instead of the pretty, shiny balls used during this 200 year period of Protestant blessing between the old papal Dark Ages and a reconquered world run by the Vatican. Protestantism has held off the old age of “Christian high priest satanists” and their “holy terrorism”; and our world is now transitioning back to it. It will be total, global perdition.

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Rev. 17:8).

Watch the following video and study the photos of the pagan gods dressed in familiar sights of Christian high days. Compare the facial expressions of the horrified and despairing children in the paintings from the Dark Ages with the world of New Age spiritualism, as seen in the seducing advertisements connected to popular holidays and modern pictures. Then compare the old Medieval dark paintings to the above murals in the Denver Airport that promise a future of hope and happiness when the atheistic, occult new world order is fully in place.

The Bible is full of good news and bad news. And not only good news. That is because Jesus needed to inform and warn His people of the reality of the adversary. We need to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. As our human shield and our exceeding great reward, the only begotten Son of God placed Himself between us and the enemy of souls, in order to protect us from the evil power that is the epitome of extremest wickedness. From Gethsemane to Golgotha Jesus took the claws and wrath of the spirit of Odin, Moloch, Saint Nicolas, Santa Claus, in His own heart, mind, and body, so that we could be saved from Santa’s bottomless pit of emptiness in our hearts and minds and bodies. Jesus absorbed all the barbs of hell to spare us that damnation.

Through multitudinous biblical histories of Israel’s deceptions and desolations by Satan, and through His holy, self-sacrificing act, Jesus has beckoned to the world to flee every connection with the devils. Jesus has warned us away from the world’s customs and cultural events. Christ, as the God of the Old Testament, showed the world how He felt about Egypt’s Moloch, by destroying all their first-born. And He has thus left His declaration to all of His Protestant nations today of what the heathen holidays are all about, where they came from and where they will lead—to the same desolation Israel suffered so many times. He came as our sacrifice at the hand of Satan; but when He returns, He will utterly destroy everyone who serves the god of Easter, Mid-summer’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas.

“And, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Rev. 6:12-17).

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matt. 24:29-31).

There is nothing good or innocent about the customs and holidays of the heathen. All the “fun” and “treats” of enchanting pagan holidays within Christianity are only for coaxing the hearts of children with candy and adults with alcohol, luring them all away from the blessed Law of God, and from the security and peace that come from obedience to our Creators, the eternal Father and Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. The sweets of holidays do nothing differently than the rich food and rich living given to the vestal virgins and other human sacrifices.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2:14,15).

Just in time for those difficult gatherings among family.

David Allen

This book offer, “How Christian Is Christmas?”, came in my email this morning. Although I haven’t read more than a few pages, I’m sure that you will be greatly benefited if you get the book. Many wise, thought provoking illustrations fill the book. Here is an excerpt of the first few pages.

How Christian Is Christmas?

“WARNING! This booklet will turn Christmas upside down. It might hurt your feelings, but it just might save your soul.

As a child did your parents teach you a little white lie? Were you programmed that someone in the night was going to come to your house and leave you presents? Did you trust what your parents told you? Then you had no reason to doubt them. You were probably taught not to question Christmas or what God even says about it. Most never reflect on why they believe or to do what they do. We live in a world with customs where no one seems to question them or where they came from.

Let’s follow the roots of Christmas and see why people follow along in what seems to be innocent. Why is it kept on December 25th? The early New Testament church never kept it. The Apostles never kept it. Jesus didn’t remind us to remember it.

Why do people observe Christmas you might ask? It’s Easy to follow along without even thinking. It’s Fashionable. Its what everyone else does. It’s Tradition. It’s Fun. Everywhere we turn, work, TV, Radio, Church, there’s Christmas being thrown at you.

Most follow along as they have been taught, believing it is what is right and haven’t even given it a thought otherwise.

They take their beliefs for granted and never take time to question or prove them. This is true when we consider Easter, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween.

Millions keep these without even knowing why or where they originated from. When it comes to Christmas, many think it is in the Bible, or that God backs them. But in order to get a new belief system, you need to develop something that impersonates God and challenges your belief system. And Christmas does that. Because for too long now, you will hear in church that Christmas is the time where we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Surely millions cannot be wrong when you’re in the majority. Author Mark Twain (1835-1910) said, ‘Whenever you find that you are on the side of the majority, it is time to reform.’

What does the Bible and history really teach? To find the truth of a biblical matter, you must be willing to open your Bible and honestly accept what it says. The majority of people stoutly defend what they have merely assumed is right or biblical. They read with prejudice anything that contradicts cherished beliefs. I am asking that you read thru this booklet without any bias.

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16, ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:’ The Bible is our reference and our measuring tool.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 – ‘Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.’

Ask God to guide you, to help you prove what He says in His Word. No matter how comfortable a lifelong practice may be, should you not base it on proof? Hard evidence on what God says, instead of assumptions?

Christmas is a worldwide tradition, thought to be a wonderful time focusing on family, giving, beautiful music and decorations. For some, special foods are to be made, singing traditional carols know as Christmas carols. And from the child side of things, it’s all about Santa, Reindeer and presents. For merchants it’s all about making money and turning losses into gains for the year.

All of this is supposedly centered on the worship of Jesus Christ, and His birth on December 25th. But where did Christmas come from? What is the origin of Santa Claus? The Mistletoe? Christmas trees? Holly wreaths? Yule logs? Exchanging gifts?

Did you realize that in the United States, it was illegal to practice or observe Christmas?

Shocking as it sounds, followers of Jesus Christ in both America and England helped pass laws making it illegal to observe Christmas, believing it was an insult to God to honor a day associated with ancient paganism,’ according to ‘Shocked by the Bible’ (Thomas Nelson Inc., 2008). ‘Most Americans today are unaware that Christmas was banned in Boston from 1659 to 1681.’

The Puritan-dominated Parliament of England banned all Christmas activities, including dancing, seasonal plays, and games, singing carols, cheerful celebration and especially drinking in 1644, with the Puritans of New England following suit. Christmas was outlawed in Boston, and the Plymouth colony made celebrating Christmas a criminal offense, according to ‘Once Upon a Gospel’ (Twenty-Third Publications, 2008).

The Pilgrims who came to America in 1620 were strict Puritans, with firm views on religious holidays such as Christmas and Easter. Scripture did not name any holiday except the Sabbath. Puritans were particularly contemptuous of Christmas, nicknaming it ‘Fools-tide’ and banning their flock from any celebration of it throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. On the first December 25th of their existence in America, they spent it working their fields just like any other day.

Christmas trees and decorations were considered to be unholy pagan rituals, and the Puritans also banned traditional Christmas foods such as mince pies and pudding. Puritan laws required that stores and businesses remain open all day on Christmas, and town criers walked through the streets on Christmas Eve calling out ‘No Christmas, no Christmas!’

In England, the ban on the holiday was lifted in 1660, when Charles II took over the throne. However, the Puritan presence remained in New England and Christmas did not become a legal holiday until President Ulysses S. Grant formally declared it a federal holiday in 1870. Schools continued to hold classes on December 25th up until this time.

Why didn’t Puritans like Christmas? They had several reasons, including the fact that it did not originate as a Christian holiday. The upper classes in ancient Rome celebrated December 25 as the birthday of the sun god Mithras. The date fell right in the middle of Saturnalia, a month long holiday dedicated to food, drink, and revelry (including orgies), and Pope Julius I is said to have chosen that day to celebrate Christ’s birth as a way of co-opting the pagan rituals. Beyond that, the Puritans considered it historically inaccurate to place the Messiah’s arrival on December 25. They thought Jesus had been born sometime in September. More on these Biblical hints later.

Although the change was gradual, people began to once again embrace the holiday until Christmas, as we know it today complete with mistletoe, eggnog and candy canes was celebrated throughout the American colonies.

Let’s look at some facts that are readily available if anyone wants to know….”

The coming dangers of biblical prophecy are growing and expanding all around us

Just in case you didn’t read this post from my blog entitled, Prophecy and Politics, I am copy-pasting it onto this blog. (I have added an excerpt of a speech by President Kennedy to my original post from Prophecy and Politics.)

I have a lot of black friends, who I love very much. I am not black; I am Caucasian. But I say this to preempt any thinking that I am a white supremacist or a black supremacist. And I also say this to preempt any prejudice against the following video that I believe gives the clearest exposé on the repeal of net neutrality. I have yet to hear a better explanation.

The following video, is a purely secular (slightly vulgar, yet intelligently spoken) explanation, but it parallels what Revelation has been warning our last days world. I would add to the author of this video in the way of the four angels’ messages. The white supremacist elitists who hate the American customers are not Americans; they are the Jesuits and their secret brother and sister societies who hate the Protestant United States Constitution of freedom. All that Adventist watchmen on the walls of Zion and the great plethora of secular watchmen have put out to the planet over the past 20 years, warnings which have stood in the way of the Abomination of Desolation standing in the holy place of humanity’s hearts, must end its world domination and give way to the coming “Son of perdition” (2Thess. 2:3), “the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition ” (Rev. 17:11). “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the dearth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. ” (Rev. 17:8).

“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” (Rev. 18:3).

“And now ye know what withholdeth [holds back] that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [holds back] will let [holds back], until he be taken out of the way.”

Satan’s Anti-christ, the coming mass-influencer of the world is not a single man, but rather a fierce, religious organization. And it has been held back by Protestant, civil America.

The following are words from President John F. Kennedy to the press core, copied from:

John F. Kennedy Speeches
The President and the Press: Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961

“My topic tonight is a more sober one of concern to publishers as well as editors.

I want to talk about our common responsibilities in the face of a common danger. The events of recent weeks may have helped to illuminate that challenge for some; but the dimensions of its threat have loomed large on the horizon for many years. Whatever our hopes may be for the future—for reducing this threat or living with it—there is no escaping either the gravity or the totality of its challenge to our survival and to our security—a challenge that confronts us in unaccustomed ways in every sphere of human activity.
This deadly challenge imposes upon our society two requirements of direct concern both to the press and to the President—two requirements that may seem almost contradictory in tone, but which must be reconciled and fulfilled if we are to meet this national peril. I refer, first, to the need for a far greater public information; and, second, to the need for far greater official secrecy.

The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.

But I do ask every publisher, every editor, and every newsman in the nation to reexamine his own standards, and to recognize the nature of our country's peril. In time of war, the government and the press have customarily joined in an effort based largely on self-discipline, to prevent unauthorized disclosures to the enemy. In time of ‘clear and present danger,’ the courts have held that even the privileged rights of the First Amendment must yield to the public’s need for national security.

Today no war has been declared—and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.

If the press is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of ‘clear and present danger,’ then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent.

It requires a change in outlook, a change in tactics, a change in missions—by the government, by the people, by every businessman or labor leader, and by every newspaper. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence—on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.”

The “monolithic and ruthless conspiracy” that opposes freedom has been held back by Protestant, civil America, as President Kennedy clearly expressed it. But, Reformation Protestantism in America has fallen under heavy attack, and secular America is putting up a brave effort to resist the enemy of liberty. But the secularists are corrupted and weakened by their own self-imposed self-indulgence. They cannot much longer hold back the religio-political joint power of the Vatican and the Evangelical Protestants. The Religious Right, the Moral Majority, the Christian Coalition grandfather organizations among a host of many others already influence the large, powerful church-going half of America. The religious half composes the greatest danger to America today. Not all the people, but the leadership have reached across the abyss to clasp hands with the Vatican to sweep all the Protestants and the whole world into spiritualistic oblivion and moral perversion—perdition.

The rocks are crying out—a foretaste of the Latter Rain

While he was only a twenty-year-old fulfilling a sixty year prison sentence, Matt fought an inmate and he beat him until the man was in a coma. For the first time Matt felt guilty. Now he felt the need to address his guilt. After spending a year in solitary confinement reading a Bible that his father had given him, that’s when Matt became a new man.

“I could feel like a fire within me. It was a change from my perspective of my surroundings and my world. I realized God had touched my heart. And I understood from scriptures what that meant. And I knew that from that day on I was changed. That I was still a sinner, I still had done a lot of things bad, I was in prison, but I knew I was on the path of getting my life together, of committing my life to Christ, and trying to live a life that was going to glorify Him. The simplicity of it just amazed me. That I didn’t get this as a kid, and now I’m reading this. I can give God all my brokenness and sin, and in return He gives me grace and peace and everlasting life.”

Over the past couple of days I’ve been watching videos of testimonies from people who had been deep in drugs and captivity to the devils. These folks are true disciples who Jesus delivered from the clutches of Satan, modern disciples of Jesus like those who walked with Him 2,000 years ago. Below I have listed the addresses of these powerful stories from our brothers and sisters who came directly out of the crime world and the spirit world.

Some common threads in every testimony I see is that once the Spirit of our High Priest took His abode in their hearts, the Bible became the center of their love! Every time! No commentaries! No books to explain the scriptures, or self-help books on the way to be saved! The anointing taught them; God was their teacher. They read no books like, Salvation For Dummies. They read the Bible alone. Even the 400 year old King James Version was perfectly understandable to them! The King James Version all by itself became infinitely relevant. They didn’t need the watered down chaff of the NIV. Verily, the holy Word of God is the vehicle for Jesus to enter our hearts through His Spirit. Truly His words are Spirit and they are life!

These powerful sons and daughters of Christ all came to realize that God is not an impersonal force, but a personal Friend, a personal Saviour, a personal Father, a personal Protector. No sooner did that realization hit them than they crumbled before Him. To their personal Saviour they poured out their souls unto death. They were crucified with Christ; they were planted together with Him. Many said they felt His arms wrap around them. Others said that all nature seemed brighter and happy. One said that the wind and nature seemed to be praising Him, and after he said this repentance again came over him with tears in his voice. “For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren.” (Heb. 2:11). All became new creatures in Christ. Beautiful! Wonderful! Powerful! Amen and Amen!

Jesus’ power, His love, His grace, their humility, their full acceptance of consequences, are the only things that we hear from their mouths. All their glory goes to God and His Son. All are wearing the fruit of the Spirit of Jesus.

Another thought is that we see how Jesus is using Christians from other denominations to lead His needy children to surrender to Himself. History is repeating; the days of Jesus healing the demon possessed are here again. Do we want to be healed? Are we willing to admit with them that we are possessed by the devil?

Among other scriptures, the following promises came to mind as I watched these saints of the Lord, these blessed children of the Most High.

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people.” (Isa. 60:2).

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and He enclined unto me, and heart my cry.
He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.” (Ps. 40:1-3).

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD: and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto Him.
Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt comnpass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” (Ps. 32:1-7).

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” (Isa. 60:1-5).

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12,13).

“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” (Isa. 55:10-13).

“What Man of you, having an hundred sheep, if He lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until He find it?
And when He hath found it, He layeth it on His shoulders, rejoicing.
And when He cometh home, He calleth together His friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with Me; for I have found My sheep which was lost.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” (Luke 15:4-7).

Every word from these (I assume) non-Adventists is in perfect agreement with all that I have read from the books of the Spirit of Prophecy, Steps to ChristDesire of Ages, etc. Their anointing gave them perfect theology, better theology than 99 just persons who have never needed repentance. These anointed ones can articulate the science of salvation because they have experienced the science of salvation.

Some last quotations that are strong reproof to me and many other Adventists. If we won’t come to our own surrender of self-management, pouring out our souls unto death like the people in the above videos, and do this work of evangelism, then the Lord will accomplish that work without us. The rocks will cry out, and we will be judged as wicked. We will cry, “Crucify them! Crucify them!” We will try to stop the rocks from crying out, as the dead King Saul tried to put an end to the spiritual and lively son of Jesse.

“Judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment.
And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore His arm brought salvation unto Him; and His righteousness, it sustained Him.
For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon His head; and He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.” (Isa. 59:14-17).

“As the priests and temple officials witnessed this great work, what a revelation to them were the sounds that fell on their ears! The people were relating the story of the pain they had suffered, of their disappointed hopes, of painful days and sleepless nights. When the last spark of hope seemed to be dead, Christ had healed them. The burden was so heavy, one said; but I have found a helper. He is the Christ of God, and I will devote my life to His service. Parents said to their children, He has saved your life; lift up your voice and praise Him. The voices of children and youth, fathers and mothers, friends and spectators, blended in thanksgiving and praise. Hope and gladness filled their hearts. Peace came to their minds. They were restored soul and body, and they returned home, proclaiming everywhere the matchless love of Jesus.” Desire of Ages, p. 163.

“Whoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.” (Matt. 16:25).

“And a little child shall lead them.” (Isa. 11:6).

Let us do the first works of falling on the Stone and being broken. Let us pour out our souls like we witnessed from the people in these videos. Let our self die as we give our empty souls to Jesus so that we can start a new life bound up in His arms. Let us see something missing in our religious experience when we see the struggles of these captives finding their Deliverer from sin. And like them, we will find him who is our life.

The perfect heart

“The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.” (2Chron. 16:9).

“And Simeon blessed them, and said unto MaryG3137 His mother, Behold, this Child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” (Luke 2:34,35).

Mary, G3137, Maria, Mariam, of Hebrew origin [H4813]; Maria or Mariam (that is, Mirjam).
H4813 miryâm (meer-yaum’) From H4805; rebelliously; Mirjam].
H4805 merîy From 4784; bitterness, that is, (figuratively) rebellion; concretely bitter, or rebellious: - bitter, (most) rebel (-lion, -lious).
H4784 mârâh A primitive root; to be (causatively make) bitter (or unpleasant); (figuratively) to rebel (or resist; causatively to provoke): -bitter, change, be disobedient, disobey, grievously, provocation, provoke (-ing), (be) rebel (against, -lious).

“Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebelsH4784; must we fetch you water out of this rock?” (Num. 20:10).

“Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for He hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea…. And when they came to MarahH4785, they could not drink of the waters of MarahH4785, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called MarahH4785. And the people murmured against Moses… (Ex. 15:21,23,24).

Names have always had great meaning. The etymology of names gives us inside information of people’s character. Moses’ sister, Miriam, had a powerful bent to leadership. After the deliverance from the Egyptians at the Red Sea, she grabbed her tambourine and began singing and dancing before the Lord. Many other women did as she did, and it was a wonderful exaltation of Jesus there. But, Miriam could also lead people in the wrong direction, like the blind leading the blind. She turned to backbiting Moses, and led Aaron to join in with her. If it hadn’t been for Moses’ humble intercession before Jesus, both Miriam and Aaron would have gone into the ditch. So Jesus gave her leprosy, and she looked like Lot’s wife (see Numbers 12:1-15). Her act was so grievous that it found itself in one of the great Ten Commandments, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” (Ex. 20:16).

This is the ancestry of Mary, sinful human beings with sinful human natures. Miriam’s bitterness came from a demonic source. Evil speaking is demonically driven. The spirit of gossip and of destructive, private speaking against another, especially Jesus’ anointed ones, earns His greatest distaste and foreboding frown. Satan’s presence that demonstrates itself in bitterness, in the stiff-neck, and in stubborn resistance, is seen in Moses’ song against the rebels among Israel.

“But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they Him to anger….
And when the LORD saw it, He abhorred them, because of the provoking of His sons, and of His daughters.
And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
They have moved Me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked Me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
For a fire is kindled in Mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend Mine arrows upon them….
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps….
Rejoice, O ye nations, with His people: for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and will render vengeance to His adversaries, and will be merciful unto His land, and to His people.” (Deut. 32:15,16,19-23,31-33,43).

Again in Deuteronomy, we see Christ’s use of wormwood and bitterness as the fruition of Satan’s work to separate the soul from its Maker and Saviour, and to turn them into rebellion against Him.

“Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.” (Deut. 29:18-20).

We also see the same bitterness and Wormwood in the third trumpet plague of Revelation.

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and the name of the star is called WormwoodG894: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Rev. 8:10,11).

G894 apsinthos, Of uncertain derivation; wormwood (as a type of bitterness, that is [figuratively] calamity).

Satan twists the evidences and motives of the Lord for His goodness. Our adversary confuses the mind, and poisons the springs of the heart, until the soul shakes its fist at its heavenly Father and Benefactor. Rebellion is the whole work of Lord’s adversary, his age-old work of spiritualism and paganism. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” (1Sam. 15:23).

But, as the Lord can redeem His people who turn to Him as they turn away from Satan, original names can then misrepresent character, as it did with Mirjam, the mother of Jesus [Iēsous (ee-ay-sooce’) Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: -Jesus.]

Mirjam, Miriam, the mother of Jesus, was a converted woman. Her heart was “perfect toward [the Lord]” (2 Chron. 16:9). She had the same as her ancient matriarch, Rebekah, the spirit of happy willingness to be the Lord’s servant (see Genesis 24:15-20). Rebekah’s beautiful soul could only have been made by the Spirit of the Lord. Her outer beauty could bind up a man’s heart; but it was her inner beauty that bound up the Lord’s heart.

No doubt the same was with Mirjam, or Miriam, the mother of our Lord. And Miriam’s spirit, gifted from the Spirit of the Lord, made her happy to do the Lord’s will even if it meant a lifetime of evil-speaking against her. Her “miraculous” conception would never be believed, as that excuse might have been dared to be used in the past by promiscuous women.

The presence of the new “holy thing” in her purged and vivified her body, her soul, and her spirit. His anointing taught her truth and deepened her theology. In the company of her cousin, Elizabeth, Miriam unburdened her thankful, purified heart to God for His choosing her to be His handmaid and also for the blessing of suffering together with the Son of God, the Prince of heaven, the Messiah.

“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name.
And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation.
He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away.
He hath holpen His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to His seed for ever.” (Luke 1:46-55).

So, Miriam, by the work of the Spirit of God, was made the perfect mother to protect the world’s Saviour, and to teach Him the ways of His God and Father. As the Spirit of God was upon Simeon, it was also upon her. “Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy GhostG4151 [pneuma, Spirit], that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him after the custom of the law,
Then took he Him up in his arms, and blessed God…” (Luke 2:25-28).

That day the Spirit of the Lord came upon Miriam as it did so many others in the Bible.

“And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.” (Jdg. 3:9,10).

“But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him.” (Jdg. 6:34).

“Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon…. So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands. And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.” (Jdg. 11:29,32,33).

“And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him. And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.” (Jdg. 13:24,25).

“Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.” (Jdg. 14:5,6).

“And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions…” (Heb. 11:32,33).

“And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.” (Jdg. 14:19).

“And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.” (Jdg. 15:14-16).

With Saul we see the inner workings of how the Spirit of the Lord was enabled to come upon, or in, the champions of the Lord. It was by faith.

“After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.
And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.” (1Sam. 10:5-9).

“And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.
And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.…
And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.…
Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.
And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.” (1Sam. 11:6-8,11,14,15).

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Cor. 5:17).

Paul links the coming of the Spirit to conversion, new birth. Christ anointed King Saul and gave him a new heart. Saul became a new man, a new creature in Christ. There is nothing arbitrary by God. As we see below with Isaiah, forgiveness of sin and conversion attends every call of God for His service in every capacity. His choosing and election are without partiality and special favors. His choice of leaders is always predicated on His offer of justification and sanctification. With our acceptance of His offer of His justification and our joint effort in our special purification automatically come His reconciled Spirit and His power.

“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.” (Isa. 6:5-7).

But, as with Balaam, King Saul, Jeroboam, Jehu, Asa, and others, Christ’s continued calling depends on the joint effort to retain justification and the effort in the special work of sanctification. And we also see that all during the lives of those called, even if they are unfaithful to the maintenance of justification and the sanctified life, their still remains a small hold in their spirit for Jesus to lay claim to. This we see vividly in King Saul after he had departed so far from his one time holy calling. There is hope for everyone who have tasted of Christ’s goodness, have slipped away, but desire to return. Like the Prodigal Son, Jesus is waiting and His Spirit is working to bring them back. Without Jesus interceding for them Satan would completely dominate them. But, like so many demoniacs, who could not even cry out with for Jesus to deliver them, He heard their hearts’ unspoken appeal, and acted upon that authority to release them. As there is hope for everyone of us who haven’t received the abundant anointing that King Saul received, there was still hope for the king. Everything depended on the act of his will. Would he seek Jesus to heal his bitterness? Would he, humbled and surrendered, confess to himself and to Jesus, “I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not” (Job 33:27), immediate Christ’s salvation from Satan would have returned King Saul to his sanity and happiness.

“He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not.”
“He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.”
“Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.”
“He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.”
“His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth.” (Job 33:27,26,24,28).

“And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.
And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.
Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah.
And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?” (1Sam. 19:20-24).

We see the choice of champions to deliver Israel linked to forgiveness of sins and faith. Jesus does nothing arbitrarily. The anointing came by people seeking Jehovah in repentance, in the spirit of heaviness, and humbled by the consequences of their life of disobedience. The judges of ancient Israel were men powerfully converted to Jesus. “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12,13). “He that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father. And I will give him the Morning Star.” (Rev. 2:26-28). King Saul hadn’t kept the work of Christ uppermost to the very end. But, David did.

“Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him [David] in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.” (1Sam. 16:13,14).

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” (Isa. 11:1,2).

“Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,
The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.
And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.
Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.” (2Sam. 23:1-5).

Even the Patriarchs were converted men and had open communion with their personal Saviour, Jesus.

“And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.” (Gen. 35:1-7).

The builders of His sanctuary were converted, justified, and acted by faith.

“See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,
And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office,
And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.” (Ex. 31:2-11).

Even the children of Israel who brought their gifts to make the sanctuary were converted and forgiven their sins. They had seen their great transgressions. They knew how close to destruction they came. And, with broken hearts, they had fallen on their face before the Lord. Now they were ready to happily give to Jehovah from their hearts.

“And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him [Moses] there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
And he said, If now I have found grace in Thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.
And He said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee….
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai….
And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,…
And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit [His Spirit?] made willing, and they brought the LORD’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all His service, and for the holy garments.
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.
Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’s offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.” (Ex. 34:5-10,29-32; 35:4,5,21-26).

His Spirit that blessed the children of Israel with new covenant, born-again hearts and spirits, was upon the prophets who were “born of water and of the Spirit” (John 3:5). Yes, even Balaam!

“And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!” (Num. 24:1-5).

But, would Balaam maintain that blessing or let is slip away forever?

The prophets were the same born again seed of Christ. Their hearts were set upon Jesus. Their souls thirsted for Jesus, the living God. Elijah, Elisha, Micaiah, Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, Azariah the son of Oded, Zechariah the son of Jehoiada, Bezeleel and Aholiab, all of the inspired, holy major and minor prophet Bible writers, were all men of faith and prayer, new creatures in Christ.

“And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: and he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.” (2Chron. 15:1,2).

“Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” (2Chron. 20:14-17).

“And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you. And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.” (2Chron. 24:20,21).

No sooner does one come to Christ than there is born in them a desire to make known to others what a precious friend they have found in Jesus.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.” (Isa. 61:1-4).

“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: He wakeneth morning by morning, He wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.” (Isa. 50:4).

And the same power and authoritative message of the prophets is meant for everyone who comes to know Jesus today.

“And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!” (Num. 11:29).
