“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

In conclusion, Gr. harpadzo doesn’t have to mean instantaneous seizure. And when taking all biblical evidence into account, Jesus did not leave violently or rapidly. Therefore He will not return rapidly or instanteously, in the blink of an eye. He was seized by His Father because His Father couldn't wait any longer to again have His Son in His embrace. The blink of an eye that Paul wrote about concerned the change of sinful to sinless natures that will occur when “we see Him as He is” (1Jn. 3:2).

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ” (1Cor. 15:51-53)

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1Jn. 3:2).

The change of nature was Paul constant yearning.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” (Rom. 8:19-23).
