“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

Will you stand in the final crisis if you have already fallen before the crisis has come?

Pope Francis says he has open arms for the gay movement within Catholicism (I love Catholics! I have many good friends in the Catholic religion). Pope Francis says he would baptize an extra-terrestrial if one landed on Earth.

But what is he really doing? He is simply allying himself and the Church with millions, or tens of millions, or hundreds of millions of gay folks and UFO/Nephilim/extra-terrestrial believers. One day when Satan comes to impersonate Christ’s return the Pope will have a ready militia in the gay folks and UFO-ologists because he welcomed them into his heart.

What if one day he announces on YouTube or Twitter, “I realize that there are many versions of the Trinity doctrine out there in the denominations. But, It doesn’t really bother me. I’ll accept anyone and any version of the Trinity. If you are a Trinitarian, but you don’t believe in eternal generation like us Catholics, then I hope you don’t let that come between you and me, or between your denomination and the mother Church. Please join us in uniting Christianity again like it was in the more glorious past. Please worship with us at your local Catholic church. I am removing all barriers. Come. Please come.”

What would Seventh-day Adventists do?

Please recall the following statement from Ellen White.

Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of spiritualism, the latter creates

a bond of sympathy with Rome.” Great Controversy, p. 588.

I will skip over the first error and look at the second error of the two. “Through the two great errors … Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions.... the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome.” So, Sunday-keeping creates a bond of sympathy with the Church of Rome. That makes sense. How can a Sunday going Christian protest against the Church’s change of the Sabbath to Sunday by her own authority? As an accomplice with the Roman Church in rejecting the fourth commandment, how can a Sunday denomination protest anything about the Church?

Now what about the Seventh-day Adventist church? Can the Trinitarian Seventh-day Adventist church protest any corruption of the Catholic Church or the Vatican or her Jesuit Order? Because really, any doctrine held in common with the Catholic doctrine creates a bond of sympathy with her. Via the common stance between Rome and Adventism because of the Trinity we are bosom buddies on that one point. And, since the Trinity is a foreign concept to the Bible’s Father and Son Godship, we are now accomplices with Rome’s corruption of the Bible on that error. Pope Francis even has pushed further on the Trinity dogma since the Vatican’s last real threat—the SDA church—has aligned with her on it.

This is the Bible’s stance on the Divinity:

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (1Cor. 8:5,6).

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom. 1:7).

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Cor. 1:3).

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Cor. 1:2).

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Gal. 1:3).

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Eph. 1:2).

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Php. 1:2).

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Col. 1:2).

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thess. 1:1).

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Thess. 1:2).

Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1Tim. 1:2).

To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.” (2Tim. 1:2).

To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.” (Tit. 1:4).

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Phm. 1:3).

Paul introduces himself in every letter with Grace and peace from the only two Divine personalities.

But, what about 2 Corinthians 13:5?

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” (2Cor. 13:14).

The verse refers to other statements from Paul.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Rom. 8:9-11).

The Spirit is not a third person of the divine Headship. The Spirit is both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ. It begins with the Father, is received by His Son, and then comes to Their family in heaven and earth who are trusting in the Son.

The Spirit is not only called the Spirit of God (as though the Spirit’s name is the Spirit of God), but also “the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead” (Rom. 8:11).

If “the Spirit of God” is the Spirit’s name, then so also is “the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead”. But that would be too unwieldy. All sarcasm aside, the phrases given to the Spirit are not names, but descriptions. The Spirit is God’s Spirit. God owns it because it comes from His mind. The Father raised Jesus from the dead, not a third person of a Trinity. “Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)” (Gal. 1:1).

God, in the New Testament, is always the Father, not a Trinity of Gods or of Persons or of gods or of under gods. In Mark’s gospel Jesus said, “But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.” (Mark 13:11). And in Matthew’s gospel Jesus said, “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” (Matt. 10:19,20). And both are correct because the two mean the same. The Holy Ghost is the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of the Holy Father. Mathew and Mark say that the Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit) is the Spirit of our Father in heaven, hallowed by His name.

Gabriel here calls the Holy Ghost the power of the Most High God. “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35). So Gabriel compares the power from the Highest to God the Father, as he does again when speaking of the only begotten Son from God. the Father. “He (Jesus) shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.” (Luke 1:32). The Son of the Highest and the power of the Highest both speak of the Father. It was the Father’s power overshadowing Mary that germinated her egg. At that point the divine Spirit of Michael was given to the corporeal human egg. Jesus was conceived by His divine Father in heaven and His earthly mother. His Father’s sinless Spirit dominated Mary’s sinful, bequeathed humanity. That made the Messiah different that us, but like all who receive His quickened Spirit. He had all of our urges to sin, but His Father’s Spirit uniting with His Spirit kept all of His sinful inheritance at bay. Never did He have a sinful propensity because at every temptation from within He had the willpower to shut them all down. And with His mercy, we can obtain His victory. Thus He calls us brethren.Amazing thought!

God rarely speaks. Everything He wants done goes through His beloved only begotten Son, who then takes care of it by delegating.

God … hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Heb. 1:1-3).

There is much more to say, but I’ll leave with the following Ellen White statements on her understanding of the Spirit of Christ:

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ, which is sent to all men. To give them sufficiency,” — {E.G. White, 14MR 84.3}

The Lord is soon to come. We want that complete and perfect understanding which the Lord alone can give. It is not safe to catch.the spirit from another. We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ. If we commune with God, we shall have strength and grace and efficiency.” — (Letter to Prescott W.W. E.G. White, Lt66, April 10, 1894)

The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience.”

Did she ever think that her denomination, the remnant of Protestantism, would be involved in reaching over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power? Maybe. She said that “they” (a later generation) would change our religion, that a new order of books would replace the kind that made the original Seventh-day Adventist church what it was. And regarding changes by a later generation, she warned us through warning the Protestants churches, concerning “new-modeling [remodeling] the cause”

“What was the origin of the great apostasy? How did the church first depart from the simplicity of the gospel? By conforming to the practices of paganism, to facilitate the acceptance of Christianity by the heathen. The apostle Paul declared, even in his day, ‘The mystery of iniquity doth already work.’ 2 Thessalonians 2:7. During the lives of the apostles the church remained comparatively pure. But ‘toward the latter end of the second century most of the churches assumed a new form; the first simplicity disappeared, and insensibly, as the old disciples retired to their graves, their children, along with new converts, ... came forward and new-modeled the cause.’— Robert Robinson, Ecclesiastical Researches, ch. 6, par. 17, p. 51. To secure converts, the exalted standard of the Christian faith was

lowered, and as the result ‘a pagan flood, flowing into the church, carried with it its customs, practices, and idols.’—Gavazzi, Lectures, page 278. As the Christian religion secured the favor and support of

secular rulers, it was nominally accepted by multitudes; but while in appearance Christians, many ‘remained in substance pagans, especially worshiping in secret their idols.’—Ibid., page 278.

Has not the same process been repeated in nearly every church calling itself Protestant? As the founders, those who possessed the true spirit of reform, pass away, their descendants come forward and

‘new-model the cause.’” Great Controversy, p. 384, 385.

If the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist church could not be allowed into their own denomination because of the new Trinity fundamental belief that has come in, which they fought so hard against the Sunday denominations—what does that say? In 1906 Ellen White wrote than the truths that God had given us for the past half century were not to be changed. Not a pin was to be stirred!! were her words.

“I understood that some were anxious to know if Mrs. White still held the same views that she did years ago when they had heard her speak in the sanitarium grove, in the Tabernacle, and at the camp meetings held in the suburbs of Battle Creek. I assured them that the message she bears today is the same that she has borne during the sixty years of her public ministry. She has the same service to do for the Master that was laid upon her in her girlhood. She receives lessons from the same Instructor. The directions given her are, "Make known to others what I have revealed to you. Write out the messages that I give you, that the people may have them." This is what she has endeavored to do." 1SM 35.2.

We must have in readiness the clear, straight messages that since 1846 have been coming to God’s people. There will be those once united with us in the faith who will search for new, strange doctrines, for something odd and sensational to present to the people. They will bring in all conceivable fallacies, and will present them as coming from Mrs. White, that they may beguile souls….

Light will dawn upon the understanding, and the Spirit will make an impression on minds, as Bible truth is clearly and simply presented in the messages that since 1846 God has been sending His people. These messages are to find their place in hearts, and transformations will take place.”—Letter 73, 1903.

Remove not a pin or a pillar from the foundation of our faith. Preach the truth as it has been given by the Lord.” 14MR 311.
