“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

The Eucharist and Mithraism

Does the item in Jesus’ hand look familiar? It is the full size Eucharist wafer that the Popes worship on high Easter. It’s the Sun that was worshiped in the Mithra worship. Mithra was the Sun god, as was the most ancient Nimrod. Mithra died young, like Nimrod. Mithra went to the Sun, like Nimrod was claimed to do.

The argument is made that the word Eucharist is in the Bible. Yes it is. Eucharisteo, means “to express gratitude, specifically to say grace at a meal”. It was the simple of act of thanking God for His goodness and provision. Below are some examples:

Luk_22:19  And He took bread, and gave thanksG2168, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me.

Joh_6:11  And Jesus took the loaves; and when He had given thanksG2168, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Joh_6:23  (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanksG2168:)

Joh_11:41  Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thankG2168 Thee that Thou hast heard Me.

Act_27:35  And when He had thus spoken, He took bread, and gave thanksG2168 to God in presence of them all: and when He had broken it, He began to eat.

Act_28:15  And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thankedG2168 God, and took courage.

Rom_1:8  First, I thankG2168 my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Rom_1:21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankfulG2168; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom_7:25  I thankG2168 God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the Law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Rom_14:6  Rom_14:6  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanksG2168; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanksG2168.

Rom_16:4  Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanksG2168, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

1Co_1:4  I thankG2168 my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

1Co_1:14  I thankG2168 God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

1Co_11:24  And when He had given thanksG2168, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.

Rom_14:6  He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanksG2168; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanksG2168.

1Co 14:17  For thou verily givest thanksG2168 well, but the other is not edified.

1Co_14:18  I thankG2168 my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

2Co_1:11  Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanksG2168 may be given by many on our behalf.

So is eucharistia in the Bible, meaning “thankfulness to God as an act of worship”.  For examples,

2Co_4:15  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgivingG2169 of many redound to the glory of God.

2Co_9:11  Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgivingG2169 to God.

Php_4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgivingG2169 let your requests be made known unto God.

Col_2:7  Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgivingG2169.

Col_4:2  Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgivingG2169;

Rev_7:12  Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgivingG2169, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

Giving thanks to God was an act of worshiping Him. Even in the Old Testament it meant “to revere, to worship with extended hands”.

Neh_12:40  So stood the two companies of them that gave thanksH3034 in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

Psa_6:5  For in death there is no remembrance of Thee: in the grave who shall give Thee thanksH3034?

Psa_18:49  Therefore will I give thanksH3034 unto Thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto Thy name.

Psa_30:4  Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, and give thanksH3034 at the remembrance of His holiness.

Psa_30:12  To the end that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanksH3034 unto Thee for ever.

Psa_35:18  I will give Thee thanksH3034 in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

Psa_75:1  To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. Unto Thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto Thee do we give thanksH3034: for that Thy name is near Thy wondrous works declare.

Psa_79:13  So we Thy people and sheep of Thy pasture will give Thee thanksH3034 for ever: we will shew forth Thy praise to all generations.

Psa_92:1  A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanksH3034 unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High:

Psa_97:12  Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanksH3034 at the remembrance of His holiness.

But in all this there is no direct connection with the Last Supper, the Supper of the Lord, holy Communion. The giving of thanks by Jesus during the last night with His disciples happened before His introduction of the new covenant. The giving of thanks, eucharisteo, when “he took bread, and gave thanksG2168” was simply His habit from eternity past and example to us forever.

There was nothing ceremonious about His giving of thanks. The eucharisteo that He offered was His heart-felt gratitude to His Father, as was His attitude every day, every moment. His eucharisteo that night was no different from the eucharisteo of every other meal during His 33 year stay with us. What was different was the new covenant that His crucifixion would consecrate. His pouring our of soul, His life poured out like the blood of the Passover lamb the next days poured out at the base of the altar of sacrifice. His body, yes, even His corpus Christi hanging empty of soul, empty of His quickening, converting Spirit. There spiked to the cross, hard and blood stained from umpteen previous crucifixions of common criminals, hung the ratification of the rescue from the world of sin for Adam and his humbled, surrendered, trusting progeny, the world of misery that they all created.

This is the true meaning of “the communion of the Lord’s body”. “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?” (1Cor. 10:16). Communion is not an identical ritual to be played once a year, or four times a year, or every week. It is a special time set aside every so often, as a body of believers, to commune with our heart, that is, meditate, on what Jesus accomplished for us.

“He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (Isa. 53:8-12).

Fire from heaven

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fireG4442 come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men” (Rev. 13:13).

I have written a blog post on this already. But I was forced to do a re-check on an old interpretation because I was referred to Ivor Myers’ series on Back to the Basics, Is the Deadly Wound Healed?”. There he makes a point that the miracle that is performed by the second beast of Revelation 13 is Satan impersonating Jesus at His second coming. For that interpretation Pastor Myers uses Paul’s 2 Corinthians 11:14 statement that Satan is transformed into an angel of light, and he notes that the Greek word in this verse for “light” is phōs, which can be interpreted as fire, (and thus phōs can be helpful for understanding Revelation 13:13, but I see that phōs can be interpreted also as light, as in photon).

The mistake he made was in not interpreting the English translated word “fire” by the actual Greek word in Revelation 13:13. That word, G4442 is pur, which more accurately means “lightning”. Pastor Myers also doesn’t read on in the next verse Revelation 13:14, that this fire from heaven is done in the sight of, or under the wisdom or direction of, the beast power. “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast.So Pastor Ivor calls the fire Satan’s imitation of Christ’s return in glory. But, does Satan need the supervision of the papacy in order to imitate the second advent? No, just the opposite. The papacy is Satan’s tool, and has always been under Satan’s supervision.

I had never looked closely at the Koine Greek for “fire” in Revelation 13:13. So, I’m glad to be prompted to do so. Lightning coming down in the sight of men is the forewarning message from Revelation 13:13. This aligns very well with the technology used to day in researching the capabilities of harnessing the power of the ionosphere.  The following video is insightful, but, for the purposes of this post please skip ahead to minute 11:21-50 and 35:15-36:36, and then watch the whole presentation later.

(143) HOLES IN HEAVEN: HAARP and Advances In Tesla Technology - FEATURE - YouTube

Lets not forget Nichola Tesla’s words: “Science is but a perversion of itself unless it has, as its ultimate goal the betterment of humanity.” It isnt of utmost importance that technology can produce a 100-fold, outrageous lightning strike. Most important is the concern: what nefarious deception can be accomplished with that technology? Fearful special effects of a massive secret rapture fraud and/or an attempted imitation of the great noise that 2 Peter 3:10 associated with Christs return? The deception would be unprecedented, and could lead to an immediate transition from the old world order of a constituted American republic to a new world order replete with fanatical legislation and persecution. The new regime would quickly arise to a new scripturally dumbed-down United States of Christian America by a political majority in a newly empowered nation that will then favor Evangelicalism because it was left behind by an assumed biblical, although completely fraudulent, secret rapture.
