“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

Our scattering and gathering again

“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; desiring to be teachers of the Law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.” (1Tim. 1:5-7).
The unpalatable Law of God becomes palatable to the honest, earnest seeker for peace with the God of truth and grace, the Prince and Messiah, “a just God and a Saviour.” (Isa. 45:21). The corruptible nature is transformed while under the influence of Christ’s divine charms. Through the Law of God and the grace of Christ, the converted soul finally has what it sought for so long: “charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.” (1Tim. 1:5).

But, everyone who dodges the thrust of the Law of God loses the blessing that comes from it bringing to them an exceedingly deep need of Christ for His grace. They are left with a downward tailspin which sends them into some strange practices. They chose to not come to the light of God’s Law; now Satan drives them into darkness.

Isaiah represents them as lying insane in the middle of the streets of Jerusalem.

“Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of His fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee? Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.” (Isa 51:17-20).

They forsook the Lord, and partook of Satan’s devices; and he took them straight into bondage. They wanted to copy the religion of the other nations. They didn’t want to live under the requirements of Jehovah. So, He gave them what they wanted, and their new master scattered their faith, their blessed self-possession, and their freedom.

This scenario is represented in Revelation 11 by the two witnesses who had stood so valiantly for the truth during the 1260 years of papal darkness. But, they finally succumb to false religion in the end. They are seen reliving Isaiah’s description of Jerusalem’s demon-possessed children “that peep, and that mutter” (Isa. 8:19) whose “speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.” (Isa. 29:4). They speak in tongues, but not to Jehovah; they mutter their gibberish to Baal, the one false lord with a thousand uncontrollable personalities and a thousand disguises.

Baal will not let them go; they are under the control of another whose vicious nature plays cat and mouse with their heart and mind. They cannot see the beauty of Jehovah to release their hold on idolatrous worship.

They drink the wine of the wrath of God, the wormwood and gall of which He had warned them.
“Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; and it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: the LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: so that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; and that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in His wrath.” (Deut. 29:18-23).

“Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine: Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of His people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: but I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over. Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.” (Isa. 51:21-52:3).

Revelation 11 indicates that the experience of ancient Israel will be the same for Protestantism and Adventism. We are repeating their history.

We see celebration and Spiritual Formation moving in to supplant an Advent movement that by and large has abandoned the “special work of purification, of putting away of sin, among God's people upon earth.” Great Controversy, p. 425. As a group we never did humble ourselves to the Law of God and the voice and pen of His servant, Mrs. White. So, Protestantism has for a while now given in to the New Age, and we also have no barrier against the new Adventism of grace without condemnation, of seeking God’s voice apart from reproof and instruction. It’s the one false religion of, “God, who are You to condemn Me?”

Satan is scattering our power. When imaginary Spiritual Formation and celebration have taken complete control of the Advent movement, then we will be prostrated and killed, laying in the streets of the great city, Babylon the great. We will be full of the wrath of God and our church will be a “habitation of devils, …the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” (Rev. 18:2).

But, after a period of judgment when some can admit to their great sin of following the world’s religion, God will raise them up again, by the straight testimony of the True Witness, and they will live in His sight (Rev. 11:11,12; Hos. 6:3).

“Every soul that refuses to give himself to God is under the control of another power. He is not his own. He may talk of freedom, but he is in the most abject slavery. He is not allowed to see the beauty of truth, for his mind is under the control of Satan. While he flatters himself that he is following the dictates of his own judgment, he obeys the will of the prince of darkness. Christ came to break the shackles of sin-slavery from the soul. ‘If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.’ ‘The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus’ sets us ‘free from the law of sin and death.’ Romans 8:2.” Desire of Ages, p. 466.

A new righteousness by works

“Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.” (Isa. 50:10).

This promise says, that even if we are in darkness and without the sense that God loves us; even if we are without peace and without God; if we will fear the Lord, obey the voice of His prophet, if we choose to trust in Jesus and rely upon our God, then God can reach us with His Spirit of life. His grace will keep us tuned into His voice.

But if I don’t have the Spirit of life and peace, and then I seek another resource for peace, then Satan will give it to me. I have turned away from the only true source of life and my alternative is the deceiver, who offers a look-alike to peace. “By peace shall [he] destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes.” (Dan. 8:25). “Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of Mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.” (Isa. 50:11).

“For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Jer. 2:13). We cannot simultaneously serve the two masters. No sooner do we end our service to the Lamb of God than Satan moves in as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, looking and sounding like Jesus.

But, the peace, the hope, the conviction that runs like fire through our brain and nerves while relying on Christ becomes sparks when waiting on Satan. The devil’s effort toward the subjugation of the disciples of Christ have been untiring. His evangelism of the one false religion has been indefatigable. Since Eve sought to lead Adam into her new found source of life and purpose, Lucifer’s prophets have ever been.

“The prophet even unto the priest…have healed also the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” (Jer. 6:13,14). When we turn our ears away from God’s Law—even though it is overpowering—we have also turned away from the fountain of living waters. We must expect and accept the divine Law to overwhelm us as creatures, sinful creatures, at that. We can stand before God through His word and expect to face someone far greater than us. His presence represented by His character in His Law will naturally make us bow—that is, our pride must bow as we recognize His infinite purity and grace.

But, if our pride will not bow, then it forces us to flee God’s Law, His character and His will. Now we are on Satan’s enchanted ground; we have chosen our delusion. We will live without being reproved and corrected. We have determined to not let anyone tell us what to do.

If we stay in God’s presence despite the discomfort to our pride; if we sense that no one else has the words of life and we trust Him enough to refresh us again, then we will patiently await His breaking through to us again as He had done initially. He got through our carnal worldliness and healed our torment. His love and grace were “with burning and fuel of fire.” (Isa. 9:5). We had tasted and seen that the Lord is good. So, on and on we trudged, seeking Him to regain His blessing.

We stumbled upon Him again as He made good use of our earnest search for His goodness. Our great need and determination to know His acceptance were the permissions He required for His removing the barriers which Satan put up to prevent us from getting to the Savior.

So, we found Him again who speaks truth and grace and we reveled in His goodness. We repent and beg Him to keep us with Him forever. His renewing of our covenant with Him strengthens the bond with Him and more readily makes Him available on a more constant basis. If we lose our hold on His character, angels can now more easily and quickly lead us to Christ again because we also can beseech Him for His presence.

Slowly the glory of His character of justice and mercy grows brighter and brighter to us and our ability to obey Him and copy Him becomes more consistent and filled with His likeness. We keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus.

Everyone who refuses to initially bow their pride does not share in the beauty of holiness. But Satan presents to them another religion which they immediately accept. It looks like the true religion—it has the trappings of spirituality and morality and piety—but its fruits are paper thin. It cannot stand in judgment. Reproof, correction, and instruction it cannot bear. It has no love for truth and grace because it turned away from the Savior when they chose to dodge God’s Law.

They must live by the sparks of their own making and live without rest. Their tormented souls spend their days in misery, and in the end fall into the grave in sorrow. This is the fruit of the one false religion. Whether it were Cain's false worship, or Baal and Ashtoreth, or Jupiter and Venus, or the medieval Jesus and the Mother of God, the one false religion has always been simply a falsification of the one true religion of the Bible. The fraud was close enough to the truth for the condemnation despising devotee to rationalize his delusion. It was worship, but the wrong worship. The God of Law and grace was not its focus. Faith, and conversion of heart and life, did not characterize its fruit.

Without a new heart toward God and His Law, the false worship must resort to a faked, emotional worship, an animated service with a display of tears or an imitation joy.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god. The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts. And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that He regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.” (Mal. 2:11-13).

Behind all the profuse expressions, an empty soul is desolated with the absence of true rest and peace. “Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.” (Isa. 57:10). They have no rest day and night because they have chosen to serve a sinister, heartless master who “ruled the nations in anger” and “who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke.” (Isa. 14:6).

The Lord knoweth them that are His and them that are not. Righteousness by their own works, their own resources, the imagination of their own unconverted heart only makes Him angry. “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev. 14:10,11).

He sees past the outward display. He is not fooled despite Satan’s mockery of Him through His wayward children. So He waits and allows the miserable consequences from Satan to teach some of them to return to Him. He lays out before them every stumbling stone that the great controversy will allow Him. But, beyond that He cannot go to save them and spare them Satan’s chastisement of their peace. They must awaken to their great need of a better master. The must humble themselves and acknowledge their mistake.

To them He has already delineated the path to life.

“If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against Me, and that also they have walked contrary unto Me; and that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.” (Lev. 26:40-42).

The few who do humble themselves are so relieved and never again forgetful of the torment they suffered that they ever remain careful to stay with the Savior. Their obedience to God and His Law is genuine. O how they love His Law, and it is their meditation through all their days.

The scattering and the gathering

“Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.” (Jer. 31:10).
I hear of the gathering of God’s people, and folks get excited about that. They want to be saved and gathered up by the Lord. But, according to Jeremiah, no one gets gathered until after they’ve been scattered.
That makes sense, doesn’t it. That’s logical. How can we be gathered without being scattered. But, no one wants to be scattered. Nevertheless, it’s coming.
“And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken My Law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, neither walked therein; but have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.” (Jer. 9:13).
But, that was then. How can it relate to our day? Do we walk after Baal? Yes, it happens all the time. How?
Baal and Ashtoreth headed a religion that substituted for the Law of God. Baal arbitrarily set up a standard that allowed the smart and rich and powerful to be lawless, and to rule rigorously over the not-so-smart, the poor, and the powerless. As a substitute, it fell into the realm of righteousness by works, on several levels.
I don’t have the time at the moment, but I’ll try to finish this tomorrow. Briefly, the reason I say that this is for us today comes from Daniel 12:7.
“And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.” (Dan. 12:7).
This is not for ancient Israel because that same 1260 year prophecy is found in Revelation also. What Daniel hears is for the very end—our day. After the 1260 year prophecy ended in 1798, another event must take place before the very end. That event is the scattering of the holy people. Who are the holy people today? I believe it refers to Protestantism and its remnant, Adventism.
What is the scattering about? What does scattering entail?
We find this in Leviticus under the curses and blessings chapter.
“And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; and if ye shall despise My statutes, or if your soul abhor My judgments, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but that ye break My covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.… And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:… And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and My soul shall abhor you. And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.” (Lev.26:12-16,19,30-33).
When the Lord will have scattered the power of Protestantism and Adventism, then all the wonders would be finished, i.e. all the visions Daniel had seen of Satan standing up against Christ and destroying the holy people with the devil’s brand of peace. When you lay this text over Revelation 10:7, you see that the end of those wonders is the mystery of God finished at the beginning of the 7th trumpet. The mystery of God, I believe is the great controversy between God, the Father, and Satan, which only Christ could resolve. This is the book seen in the Father’s right hand in Revelation 5:1, which Jesus took after His crucifixion (Rev. 5:7), and is now open in Christ’s hand in Revelation 10:1.
I’ll leave it at that for now. I’m writing a book on Revelation chapters 4-11 which I see as the core of Revelation. Chapter 10 is very exciting after a lot of bad news between chapter 6, 8, and 9.

The lethal wound is healing

“Now will I sing to My well-beloved a song of My beloved touching His vineyard. My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: and He fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and He looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt Me and My vineyard. What could have been done more to My vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes? And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: and I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah His pleasant plant: and He looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.” (Isa. 5:1-7).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA4EPOfic5A. February 21 the Vatican made a major appeal to Protestant America. Pope Francis, Kenneth Copeland, Anglican Bishop Tony Palmer, and what appeared to be a couple hundred Pentecostal leaders convened to communicate the desire and reasons to reunite Protestantism with Catholicism. “Find a bridge builder and support him” was the bishop’s final appeal.

The argument was very narrow, but to many Protestants who forsook the truths of the Bible, if not the Bible completely, the abridged version of the gospel by the Anglican mediator should easily convince millions of Protestants to return to Rome. Even if only hundreds of thousands run to the Vatican’s arms initially during these times of peace, later when real economic distress comes, hundreds of millions in America will bow before the pope and all of his loyalists, and so will billions around the world.

The first message came through the Anglican bishop’s example of Elijah, who God would send before Christ’s return. This Elijah, the Anglican quoted, “shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” (Mal. 4:6). What is the underlying message from this legate? That the Protestant children need to turn their hearts back to the Vatican fathers. Next, Pope Francis addressed Protestant America via video. The pope was videoed from a pleasant, sunlit room, apparently inside the Vatican, and seemingly alone. He was not speaking ex-cathedra to multitudes in the piazza, which could have communicated the threat of power. It was a very homey, congenial setting.

He spoke alone, frankly appealing like a father to his wayward children. He became cogent and theological. He drew from the story of Joseph in Egypt. He said that Joseph’s brothers had lots of money, but no food. And, the pope reminded Protestant Americans, “You have a lot of money, but you can’t eat your money.” It sounded like a gospel message; but, I believe it was a real threat. Pope Francis continued telling that the hungry brothers eventually were reconciled to Joseph, and even bowed down to him. Was he serious about the Joseph allusion to Protestant Americans bowing before Lord God the Pope? If German emperor, Henry IV was made to bow before Pope Gregory in confession after 3 days and nights in the winter, then Pope Francis is serious about Protestant Americans bowing before him. And, eating our money was no threat, it was a promise. Remember how the Germans burned their marks in order to get some heat during their winter.

And remember the verses, “All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.” (Eze. 7:17-19). “And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats.” (Isa. 2:19,20).

It was very much a father to children heart-to-heart. It was a call to surrender that, left unheeded, would have dire ramifications. Largely still free and rebellious toward this rising global power, Americans have technology, liberty, and financial freedom, although that is shrinking. But whether or not their money is worthless, they still can’t eat it. America might seem strong and invincible, but our muscles are fake, and our infrastructure is wasted with intentional mismanagement to purposely dry up every pot of money in the United States.

Bishop Tony said it correctly: The protest is over; and, therefore there are no more Protestants. I agree that Protestant America is done and over. Civil republican democracy, led out in the world by America, is finished. Constitutional freedoms are a thing of the past, even if the new American regime has not yet asserted its newly usurped power and rights. The strong American middle class is steeped in debt and very dependent on a bankrupt government. We are a shell of the American experiment, and about to be demolitioned. The Patriot Act is anything but patriotic to America, and has gutted our Bill of Rights. We can no longer peaceably assemble, speak or dissent freely, print truth against propagandist material; neither have we any longer the old, just Habeas Corpus justice system.

The only freedom left is religious freedom, and that has been eroded away over the past 150 years by Jesuits pushing the unreasonable theory of evolution into our educational system. They have insidiously attacked the Bible under the masks of diplomaed scientists and philosophers. And now they have skillfully created a pornographically driven homosexual movement against Protestant Americans to further undercut the good effects of the Holy Writ.

And why would Jesuits bring allegations against the Bible and work so hard to dumb down the remaining churched Protestants with regard to the Bible? Because the Bible points the finger of doom at the paganism that makes Catholicism what it is, even if it is clothed with emblems and actions that look Christian. Regardless of their look, those objects, the mass, and those charismatic worship practices are artifacts that trace back to the most ancient spiritualism.

The Bible and the Bible alone, (another Reformation issue, but conspicuously unmentioned by the Anglican arbitrator), gives the world the wherewithal to free the encroachments by Rome upon the conscience. The conscience, the individual mind, is the last of final frontiers to be conquered by Satan. This spiritual wickedness is making rapid progress with his favored earthly agency to bring this world to perdition—spiritual totalitarian control. That means a human race possessed by the god of this world.

The Bible also sheds light on sin and self-pleasing, and reveals God’s anger against sin, for the misery and torture it has caused this world’s populations. But, sin, as a doctrine, is no longer tolerable within the churched and secular Protestants, alike. The Law of God has been castigated and set aside by Protestantism, the churched as well as the unchurched Protestants. And the Bible’s message to us is, “For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto Me?” (Jer. 2:20, 21).

Our God isn’t saying, “Obey Me or I will destroy you!” But, He is saying, “Obey Me, for in the day you don’t, your own sin will destroy you. And Satan with his hosts would lead out in your destruction.” “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.” (Gen. 4:7). The Destroyer (Rev. 9:11) has been let loose from his divinely imposed restraints. He is loosed, and his favored earthly agency and its millions of human footmen have eaten up Protestantism, the holy religion of the Bible.

Yes, the Bible gave our Protestant American fathers the strong conscience, courage, and work ethic, which made it indomitable and led to its success in the world. And today we have grown so healthfully that the world is our empire. But, 170 years ago we turned away from the will of God by abrogating His holy Law. So He has turned away from us. “For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before Me, saith the Lord GOD. How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways.” (Jer. 2:22, 23).

Baalim is back and flourishing in Protestantism. Protestants have “married the daughter of a strange god” (Mal. 2:11)—Charismatic, glossolalia, celebration, Jesuit Spiritual Formation—in whole, Catholicism, the most modern version of Baal and Ashtoreth. Modern Baalim has the same two gods in the new-modeled, unbiblical Jesus and Mary. Nothing is new under the sun.

And remember what Vatican means. According to the website, http://biblelight.net/vatican.htm
Research the word Vatican in many Latin - English / English - Latin dictionaries, or encyclopedias, and you will likely find that Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica of the Roman Catholic Church were built upon what was called in Latin vaticanus mons or vaticanus collis. The words mons and collis mean hill or mountain. You will also find in the dictionaries that the words vatic / vates / vatis all relate to prophecy as shown here:
vāt·ēs or vat·is -is m seer, prophet; bard, poet f prophetess; poetess
Vāticān·us -a -um adj Vatican; mons (or collis) Vaticanus hill in Rome on the right bank of the Tiber

Especially does the word vaticinor relate to the speaking in tongues we saw practiced at this recent February 21 meeting with Pentecostal leaders. Based on the above definitions, is there any question of the origin of the Charismatic movement? Ancient demonic possession and wild raving under nationalized religion. “Thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust” (Is. 29:4). The Mother of harlots and abominations in the earth. Not a sister denomination among Christianity; but, the self-acclaimed mother of them.

So, God has rejected Protestant America. It can be Christian America now, if it wants to be. “And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.” (Lk. 16:9).

In 3 years will be a grand celebration of the conquest of the 1517 Protestant Reformation; and, soon afterward, a major economic failure. Then, like President Bush’s 9/11 at the start of his administration, when Mrs. Clinton begins her administration, the first emergency as president of an old and crumbling republic of civil America will be 1000 times scarier than 9/11. The looming collapse will come. “I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: and I will lay it waste.”

The pope’s warning will prove true, “You can’t eat your money.” And we won’t be able to say he didn’t warn us. The economic collapse will force Protestant America to pray to the pope for his blessing on it. The unanimous sentiment will be, “Surely, if God hears anyone, He will hear him.” The new president will take up the power of decree already signed into law, and we will never again see a free world.

Foreign armies will be marauding the land here and round the world, along with a pandemic poverty, corruption in all levels of government, Herman Goering style butchery, vigilante crime and gang activity everywhere. Protestantism’s old enemy is back and intends to reclaim its dominance with a vengeance. They have been humiliated by Protestantism long enough. We will learn what happens to everyone who has tried to humble the devil, but wouldn’t go all the way with consecrating the heart to God and His Law.

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: and the LORD shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” (Joel 2:1-11).

Get ready for that “northern army” of Babylon (Joel 2:20). Count the cost. Go to the cross, and beg the Lord to make it clearer to you and to let the cross give you victory over the world as it did for the apostolic church. “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil. Who knoweth if He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” (Joel 2:12-17). Go to Gethsemane and plead for the strength and spirituality and obedience that have been so much lacking. Take time to be holy each morning.

During the little time that is left, get out of debt as much as possible and don’t assume new debt. Pare back your wants; live cheaply and within your means; be frugal. Pay down your loans; pay off your credit cards. “Afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you.” (Lev. 16:29). That work, during this long investigative judgment does not mean regular employment, but working to cause your own salvation. It speaks to learning to trust in Jesus and His words that He spoke in the Bible.

“There shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.” (Lev. 23:27-31).

Learn what “His rest” (Heb. 4:1) means for you. Learn what it means to rest in Jesus to give you strength to overcome sin—the true meaning of Sabbath keeping—and the sealing. Search your souls by reading the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy. Let their light shine onto your sin-stained life. “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Rom. 8:13, 14).

Time is limited; there is delay no longer. Therefore, heed the health message and the 8 laws of health. Get out your walking shoes; or better yet, your hiking boots, if you own a pair. Put away your procrastination and start walking 2-3 miles every day; then, when it’s time to flee you will have a body that can do so.

Start your day with a 32 oz. cup of steaming water or herbal tea. Meanwhile, take time to read your devotions and let the hot water clean the gut. It’s amazing the energy a clean gut creates, as the toxins no longer burden the body. Then, get out into the clear morning air, do your brisk walk, and shed those extra “blessings.” I’ve found 5 a.m. to be perfect for aerobic exercise, after the night life has gone to bed and the day life hasn’t yet come out to congest the roads and pollute the air with carbon monoxide and noise. It’s perfect for meditating on your devotions, as your undistracted mind gets oxygenated and the circulation flows.

Learn what it means to be hungry by eating 2 meals a day with nothing in between meals except for water and the day’s activities. Prepare and eat you foods simply, as close to the condition as the Lord created them. Fruits, nuts, grains and vegetables constitute the diet God gave Adam in the garden. It is perfect for the very last generation that is preparing for the time of trouble and Jesus’ return. Remember: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.” (1Jn. 3:2,3).

Babylon is here. And soon, after the Lord “shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.” (Dan. 12:7). Then, the Latter Rain will come. “And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.” (Rev. 11:12). Like the apostolic church, we will be “raised…up together, and made…[to] sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Eph. 2:6). “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.” (Rev. 11:13).

Then, the final throes of Satan’s rein in the earth―the long-time, falsely advertized secret rapture and millennium of peace deception. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” (2Thess. 2:9-11).

After that, the true Lord of heaven and earth, the “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Rev. 19:16) will be seen as a small black cloud that will grow increasingly brighter as He slows to sub-light speed to deliver His people who have trusted in Him and faithfully kept all of His commandments.
