“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

Something big eclipsed the sun on the Dark Day of May 1780?

Something eclipsed the sun on the Dark Day prophesied of by Isaiah, Christ, and John.

In 2017 four of my siblings, Darold, Dennis, Shirley, and Sue, drove down from northern Virginia to Tennessee because a total solar eclipse was going to pass there. Not that they are adventure seekers, but they had never been able to be in a total solar eclipse before. And this might be the opportunity of a lifetime. Recently, Darold described it to me. He said, “It was the oddest thing. It gave a 360 sunset on all horizons. And straight above at the center of the sky was a dusky twilight, the darkness gradually grew grey and then brighter toward the circular horizons. On the ground at the eclipse’s darkest you can see objects, but if you need to do some work with them, you would need artificial light. The sky was almost like the darkness at the verge of night. And because some light was coming in at the horizons the shadows were more defined than usual, not fuzzy as normal days.”

Why does his description matter? Yes, and here is why.

Of late there has come out a new explanation for the Dark Day of May 19, 1780 that normalizes it to just another day, that undermines the miraculous phenomenon (and, I suspect, to destroy the influence of Isaiah 13:10, Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24, Luke 21:25, and Revelation 6:12). Articles are coming out saying that the darkness came from an “advection inversion” over New England from some immense Ontario forest fire.

[Webster’s Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged inversion: A reversal of normal atmospheric temperature gradient : increase of temperature of the air with increasing altitude; advection: the horizontal movement of a mass of air which causes changes in temperature or in other physical properties of air—compare convection; convection: 1: the action or process of conveying or transmitting; 2: a mechanically or thermally upward or downward movement of a limited part of the atmosphere that is essential to the formation of many clouds (as cumulus clouds) and is used in certain heating systems 3a: the circulatory motion that occurs in a fluid at a non-uniform temperature owing to the variation of its density and the action of gravity b: the transfer of heat by this automatic circulation of a fluid.

Oxford Dictionary (shorter version)  Advection inversion : A temperature inversion caused by advection as warm air passes over a cool surface.]

The people were afraid. But why, if they had had a dark day a couple years before? Or if another one a couple of years later, why the debate for another century or two? Why did no one tell them to remember that the same happened on other occasions, as would have happened if the Dark Day was an advection inversion on what was really a normal occasion, as rationalizing it would certainly happen in our smarter, atheistic, more mature modernity. Even in those days deism was explaining away the biblical miracles, and deism was rife in America. As nowadays, their newspapers would have sought to quiet the people’s fears. Abraham Davenport, a member of the Connecticut State Senate, decided that if the Lord was coming he would just as well be found doing his duty. The Revolutionary War was underway and General Washington notated the darkness in his diary.

This is how it was described by Ellen White in The Great Controversy, p. 306-308:

Twenty-five years later [after the unprecedented Lisbon Earthquake] appeared the next sign mentioned in the prophecy—the darkening of the sun and moon. What rendered this more striking was the fact that the time of its fulfillment had been definitely pointed out. In the Saviour’s conversation with His disciples upon Olivet, after describing the long period of trial for the church,—the 1260 years of papal persecution, concerning which He had promised that the tribulation should be shortened,—He thus mentioned certain events to precede His coming, and fixed the time when the first of these should be witnessed: ‘In those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.’ Mark 13:24. The 1260 days, or years, terminated in 1798.

A quarter of a century earlier, persecution had almost wholly ceased. Following this persecution, according to the words of Christ, the sun was to be darkened. On the 19th of May, 1780, this prophecy was fulfilled.

“‘Almost, if not altogether alone, as the most mysterious and as yet unexplained phenomenon of its kind, ... stands the dark day of May 19, 1780,—a most unaccountable darkening of the whole

visible heavens and atmosphere in New England.’—R. M. Devens, Our First Century, page 89.

An eyewitness living in Massachusetts describes the event as follows: ‘In the morning the sun rose clear, but was soon overcast. The clouds became lowery, and from them, black and ominous, as

they soon appeared, lightning flashed, thunder rolled, and a little rain fell. Toward nine o’clock, the clouds became thinner, and assumed a brassy or coppery appearance, and earth, rocks, trees, buildings,

water, and persons were changed by this strange, unearthly light. A few minutes later, a heavy black cloud spread over the entire sky except a narrow rim at the horizon, and it was as dark as it usually is

at nine o’clock on a summer evening....

“‘Fear, anxiety, and awe gradually filled the minds of the people. Women stood at the door, looking out upon the dark landscape; men returned from their labor in the fields; the carpenter left his tools,

the blacksmith his forge, the tradesman his counter. Schools were dismissed, and tremblingly the children fled homeward. Travelers put up at the nearest farmhouse. ‘What is coming?’ queried every

lip and heart. It seemed as if a hurricane was about to dash across the land, or as if it was the day of the consummation of all things.

“‘Candles were used; and hearth fires shone as brightly as on a moonless evening in autumn.... Fowls retired to their roosts and went to sleep, cattle gathered at the pasture bars and lowed, frogs peeped, birds sang their evening songs, and bats flew about. But the human knew that night had not come.…

“‘Dr. Nathanael Whittaker, pastor of the Tabernacle church in Salem, held religious services in the meeting-house, and preached a sermon in which he maintained that the darkness was supernatural.

Congregations came together in many other places. The texts for the extemporaneous sermons were invariably those that seemed to indicate that the darkness was consonant with Scriptural prophecy....

The darkness was most dense shortly after eleven o’clock.’—The Essex Antiquarian, April, 1899, vol. 3, No. 4, pp. 53, 54. ‘In most parts of the country it was so great in the daytime, that the people

could not tell the hour by either watch or clock, nor dine, nor manage their domestic business, without the light of candles.…

“‘The extent of this darkness was extraordinary. It was observed as far east as Falmouth. To the westward it reached to the farthest part of Connecticut, and to Albany. To the southward, it was observed along the seacoasts; and to the north as far as the American settlements extend.’—William Gordon, History of the Rise, Progress, and Establishment of the Independence of the U.S.A., vol. 3, p. 57.

The intense darkness of the day was succeeded, an hour or two before evening, by a partially clear sky, and the sun appeared, though it was still obscured by the black, heavy mist. ‘After sundown, the clouds came again overhead, and it grew dark very fast.’ ‘Nor was the darkness of the night less uncommon and terrifying than that of the day; notwithstanding there was almost a full moon, no object was discernible but by the help of some artificial light, which, when seen from the neighboring houses and other places at a distance, appeared through a kind of Egyptian darkness which seemed almost

impervious to the rays.’—Isaiah Thomas, Massachusetts Spy; or, American Oracle of Liberty, vol. 10, No. 472 (May 25, 1780). Said an eyewitness of the scene: ‘I could not help conceiving at the time,

that if every luminous body in the universe had been shrouded in impenetrable shades, or struck out of existence, the darkness could not have been more complete.’—Letter by Dr. Samuel Tenney, of

Exeter, New Hampshire, December, 1785 (in Massachusetts Historical Society Collections, 1792, 1st series, vol. 1, p. 97). Though at nine o’clock that night the moon rose to the full, ‘it had not the least

effect to dispel the deathlike shadows.’ After midnight the darkness disappeared, and the moon, when first visible, had the appearance of blood.”

No one mentioned fog or the smell of smoke. And the light was not darkened from the sky only, but also from the candles and lanterns. The darkness affected light vertically and laterally. Now please notice the statement, “a heavy black cloud spread over the entire sky except a narrow rim at the horizon.” This is very much like my brother’s description the perfect solar eclipse that he and my other siblings were in. “…straight above at the center of the sky was a dusky twilight, the darkness gradually grew grey and then brighter toward the circular horizons (which was in regular daylight).”

The difference between my brother’s solar eclipse and the Dark Day is that the Dark Day moon was gibbous, meaning almost a full moon. Being a gibbous moon and not a new moon dismisses the possibility of a solar eclipse. And not being a full moon dismisses a lunar eclipse from causing the Dark Day’s moon appearing like blood, as the above statement recalls, “...notwithstanding there was almost a full moon, no object was discernible but by the help of some artificial light….” Natural solar eclipses are caused by our moon moving in between us and the sun, and they don’t last but a few minutes. The shadow cast by perfect solar eclipses travels about 2000 miles per hour across mid-America, and the shadow is only 100 miles in diameter, depending on the distance of the moon (which varies). So, the event is short-lived.

Putting this all together, the darkness was not a somewhat normal occurrence, as in a meteorological formation caused by a huge fire. This Herschel the astronomer alluded to, “The dark day in North America was one of those wonderful phenomena of nature which philosophy [science] is at a loss to explain.” The darkened sun and red moon were not the results of natural eclipses, solar or lunar.

So, the darkness and the blood moon might have been caused by some other cosmic object situated between Earth and the Sun. A rogue planet inside our moon’s orbit, maybe? Close enough to eclipse both Earth to make its sky black rather than grey, darken the whole of New England, and give the moon the color of a lunar eclipse? A gigantic hand? Or…

...simply God’s powerful word through Christ.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth…. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” (Psa. 33:6,9).

Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.” (Isa. 48:13).

...His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Heb. 1:3).

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.” (Isa. 13:10-13).

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.” (Mark 13:24,25).

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” (Luke 21:25,26).

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? ” (Rev. 6:12-17).

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” (Rev. 16:17-21).

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matt. 24:29-31).

The original kingdoms of love

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created manH120, in the likeness of God made He him;

Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.” (Gen. 5:1,2).

And God said, Let Us make manH120 in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:26).

H121

אָדָם

'âdâm

aw-dawm'

The same as H120; Adam, the name of the first man, also of a place in Palestine: - Adam.

H120

אָדָם

'âdâm

aw-dawm'

From H119; ruddy, that is, a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.): - X another, + hypocrite, + common sort, X low, man (mean, of low degree), person.

H127

אֲדָמָה

'ădâmâh

ad-aw-maw'

From H119; soil (from its general redness): - country, earth, ground, husband [-man] (-ry), land.

H126

אַדְמָה

'admâh

ad-maw'

Contracted for H127; earthy; Admah, a place near the Dead Sea: - Admah.

The first man is of the earth, earthy.(1Cor. 15:47).

Adam was the first human born from the earth, his name described his domain and his composition. The fowls were called out from the air and ruled the air of the Earth; the fish and marine mammals were called out from the waters and ruled the waters of the Earth; the land animals were called out from the ground and ruled the land of the Earth. But Michael personally molded Adam from the planet, therefore he overruled the fowls, fish, and animals, and all their domains. Eve was the mother of all living, the mother of the human race, the house band. But because she was born from Adam, Adam was sovereign over her and over the whole human race that would come out of her. As much as he loved Eve, Adam was her lord, provider, and protector; and she, while still unpoisoned by the spirit of Satan and sinless, was perfectly, joyfully content with that divinely ordained arrangement.

Michael made Adam in His Father’s image, kingly, bold, and the king of justice. Adam was father to every human being, the ultimate authority in the family on Earth. Eve was Adam’s helper-equal. She was his second self. Made in God’s image, Adam was king of justice, and his sense of justice was perfectly balanced with mercy, as needed. And made in Adam’s image, Eve was the perfection of mercy, given to Adam to ensure that his justice would remain balanced with mercy. Justice and mercy met perfectly together in them; in them righteousness and peace constantly loved to kiss each other.

From the throne of heaven the Father of all ruled over His universe. He, the self-existent One, was the source of everything and of everyone, including His only begotten Prince. His crown Prince was His Helper-Equal, who came from His Father’s bosom like Eve came from Adam’s. Named “Who is like God?”, Michael was His Father’s second self, who would faithfully ensure mercy in all the Father’s judgments and pronouncements.

This arrangement was the Father’s, and Michael was forever perfectly, joyfully happy with it. “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” (Psa. 45:7). And “fellows” is also translated, “joined”, “knitted together”, as in fellowship and hearts knitted together. Thus we know that  He was united with His creations based on common origin and experience. Thus, we know that the Son innately possessed a commonality with His children, as Eve would have with hers. Fellows” also infers that the souls of Father and Son were knitted together and the same knitting together existed between Adam and Eve. All grew up in the same environment, Eve in Adam’s environment as did Michael in God’s, and in all the confines that the word, “environment”, connotes.

The equality that Eve enjoyed under Adam’s government existed because of Adam’s favor toward her. Though she was his offspring, to him she was “my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled” (Song 5;2). Such a favor-based equality seems to create an unbreachable chasm until one realizes the amazing feats inherent in love. If sinless, disinterested, self-sacrificing love is not fathomable, then neither can be the equality between all the earthly fathers and mothers, nor can be fathomed the equality between the great Prince of heaven and His much greater King. But through infinite love the much physically inferior Son, as in “One like the Son of man” (Dan. 7:13), and His greater, much older Father, as in “the Ancient of days” whose throne was cast upand the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire” (Dan. 7:9), fit a similar likeness in like Abraham to Isaac. What a vast difference in ages! One hundred years!  Like a grandfather and grandson. And God made Isaac a type of Christ. See Genesis 22:1-18; John 8:56. And Paul said that Isaac represented Christ and His children. See Galatians 3:16; 4:28. Who does that make Abraham a type of? God, the Father. Ellen White said she saw the Father and Son together, and the Son was just a little smaller than the Father. Im sure Isaac, not fully arrived at his prime, was a little smaller than Abraham. So the figure matches well. But what about the huge difference in their ages? What does say about co-equal, co-eval Father and Son? Christ accomplishing our redemption at a young age and then returning home again as a young man to the Ancient of days who alone is described as “Him that liveth for ever and ever” (Rev. 5:14), must also assail the co-eval notion from the worldly, politicizing early Church fathers.

In the absence of the great, equalizing love issue that exists in every healthy marriage lies the cause of the new Adventist Trinitarian quandary, which is not a quandary at all if the mind is illuminated by the gift of the divine nature from the God of love. Christ need not be co-eternal with God the Father in order to provide us strong faith in His justification, which they profess to be the cause of their demand for a co-eval Son. All that is necessary to have faith in real justification through the Son, that brings peace with God to the soul through the abiding Holy Spirit of the Son, is for the Law to be given authority and for the Son to be begotten.

Our wrestling with a Law with full authority to condemn our sins will satisfy the Schoolmaster and will allow Him to bring us to His dearly beloved begotten Son. And when we will see that the Son’s begottenness is amply provided for in the biblical anti-trinitarian Koine Greek words, uihos and prōtotokos then the Son’s begottenness will convince us of His place deep in the heart of God. But that true, biblical begetting the non-Adventist Trinity PhDs absolutely forbid upon pain of church discipline (which amounts to disfellowship from the worldwide church and the charge of “trespassing” misdemeanor if caught on church premises).

...Thy holy child Jesus.(Acts 4:30). When the apostles prayed to the Father by that name, they were not minimizing the greatness of the holy child Jesus, but rather remembering with the Father the victory of His beloved, obedient, really begotten child Jesus, as the spotless Lamb who was beaten and sacrificed, now ministering in their behalf and praying for their persecutions.

Were a (grand)father and (grand)son love to be allowed into the relationship of the eternal King and His dearly beloved Help-Meet, then Adventists don’t need to “new-model the cause” by bringing in the Trinitarianism from the apostate Protestant denominations. Please read the following quote from The Great Controversy, remembering that today’s dangerous threat is not the intrusion of the ancient paganism into Christianity, but rather a Vatican II ecumenizing of the pioneers’ original Advent movement into the apostate churches.

What was the origin of the great apostasy? How did the church first depart from the simplicity of the gospel? By conforming to the practices of paganism, to facilitate the acceptance of Christianity by the heathen. The apostle Paul declared, even in his day, ‘The mystery of iniquity doth already work.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7. During the lives of the apostles the church remained comparatively pure. But ‘toward the latter end of the second century most of the churches assumed a new form; the first simplicity disappeared, and insensibly, as the old disciples retired to their graves, their children, along with new converts, ... came forward and new-modeled the cause.’— Robert Robinson, Ecclesiastical Researches, ch. 6, par. 17, p. 51. To secure converts, the exalted standard of the Christian faith was lowered, and as the result ‘a pagan flood, flowing into the church, carried with it its customs, practices, and idols.’—Gavazzi, Lectures, page 278. As the Christian religion secured the favor and support of secular rulers, it was nominally accepted by multitudes; but while in appearance Christians, many ‘remained in substance pagans, especially worshiping in secret their idols.’—Ibid., page 278.

Has not the same process been repeated in nearly every church calling itself Protestant? As the founders, those who possessed the true spirit of reform, pass away, their descendants come forward and ‘new-model the cause.’ While blindly clinging to the creed of their fathers and refusing to accept any truth in advance of what they saw, the children of the reformers depart widely from their example of humility, self-denial, and renunciation of the world. Thus ‘the first simplicity disappears’ A worldly flood, flowing into the church, carries ‘with it its customs, practices, and idols.’” (Great Controversy, p. 384, 385).

Love and the image of the Godhead, which dwelt in the first pair and in all the marriages of the world today, solves the theological problem of the equality between the Father and the Son fabricated by AU’s Vatican seminary chiefs. We don’t need their NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM. But heaven’s self-sacrificing love Satan and his celibate priests are averse to, and so are his emotion-based and enervated, platonic Protestant agents. So, because they don’t know it (or don’t want to know it) in their emptiness they substitute for the original, primitive, beautiful holiness in the divine Father and Son embrace a blasphemous but ever so subtly homosexual threesome, deified, eternal orgy.

The Father builds the structure and the Son decorates it

In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.... [He] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” (John 1:4,9).

For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will....

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself;...

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice,

And shall come forth.” (John 5:20,21,24-29).

At birth the Father quickens, and on resurrection day the Father will quicken, our bodies. At new birth, and during the Christian life, the Son quickens our spirits. The Father handles the hardware; and He gives the Son to handle the software. This was revealed on creation week.

Our planetary orb for eons had already been prepared by the Father when He made all the stars and non-plasma bodies. The globe that would become Earth was there awaiting the Son’s organizing, covering, and polishing. It was a rogue, Neptune-like world. The jumbo planet had been forever in the dark. Its stormy atmosphere was pure H2O that ravaged its surface. Eons before the Father had called the gas giant into existence, along with billions of others like it. But, now was the time to beautify it. In the beginning, Father and Son developed and beautified the rogue planet, and this is how They did it.

The Father moved upon the waters of the atmosphere, as the Son brought light to its darkness. Then the Son and His angelic retinue withdrew. The next day He commanded and His angelic hosts divided its dense atmosphere, leaving its densest waters below a vast atmospheric gap and condensing much of it above the gap to form a shell that would surround the outermost ionosphere. The Son called the gap Heaven, and Heaven was completed. The Son was pleased. Time to give His angels rest.

The next day, the Son commanded and the angels moved the tectonic plates to raise some and to sink some. A landmass that gradually sloped toward its coasts rose up from the lower atmospheric waters. The waters drained off all day, slowly so that minimal erosion would occur. And the harsh winds dried the land, which He called the Earth. The planet looked better than before. Time to rest the angels that excel in strength.

Next day, the Son commanded and vegetation quickly grew up from the drained, but still damp, landmass. Before the day was over seeds were topping the plants and fruits were emerging from the trees. Colors of every hue now decorated the planet like ornaments. It looked even better than the previous day.

Once again the Son commanded and the angels brought together a planetary system to support the special planet under construction. It and other rogue planets with moons of every variety were placed with a star. They were spaced apart just so and all given their revolutionary and rotational velocities. The gaseous atmospheres of the rogues closest to the star were most affected by its heat. But the special planet’s atmosphere was already prepared, and its perfect placement among the other planets gave it a most advantageous distance from the star to give it comfort and habitability for its flora and future fauna. The planet looked better still than the third day.

At Sun up the Son commanded, and the fish kingdom came out of the dense waters and the bird kingdom came out of thin air. An infinitude of species filled the sea and sky. Beautiful beyond words this special planet was. What more could the Son do to it!! So the angelic hosts retired from their part in assisting their beloved Prince.

The sixth day found the energetic divine Prince commanding once again. But, what else could He do to make an already most fantastic world? At His strong voice, as the plant kingdom had come out of the land on the third day, now an animal kingdom came up out of the soil, and began to roam and graze upon the hills and plains. Wow! That tops it all off. What beauty! What perfection!

But, what do we hear? The King and His Prince were in conference! Now the Prince bowed down. In great humility born from love He scraped the clay together. Not even Gabriel was called to do this for Him. He was getting His own hands dirty? No, rather than the clay soiling His hands, His hands gave life to the soil! His touch received no damage. Out of the ground that He has molded stood up another +++creature—not on all four legs like the other creatures, but on two legs just like the Prince! And, but for a few inches shorter, he looks just like the Prince.

Now what? After a long decorating with plumage and populating his garden home with more animals, the Prince has laid the creature on the ground. Is the new creature broken? He looks sad. Was there flaws in His creation? We can’t make it out what He is doing, but He is behind some bushes, humbling Himself on the ground again, and obviously loving what He is doing. He awakens the creature again and makes a call to the bushes. Out from behind them comes another creature, amazingly graceful and filled with love for the first creature. He is much happier now, and they walk together with the Prince singing and talking. The whole planet seems happy now. The work must be complete. The wonderful surprises are over.

But, the Prince doesn’t leave them. The day is ending and they remain together. All night they point at the stars and talk of them. All the next day they point to the sky, land, and sea and talk of them. Sometimes the Prince speaks without pointing, as though His conversation is on things that are somewhere else.

To fallen humanity the Son was love and life and light, even after disaster came to the beloved family. The Son’s love was the life of the world, and the life was the light of the world. Love brought life to the conscience. And then the living conscience could awaken and see out of its dense ignorance and hopelessness.
