“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

Like Abraham, like Paul, the YouTube testifiers know the everlasting gospel

Righteousness by faith by Jesus is a beautiful science. The first example of this given in the Bible was Abraham. Paul wrote,

“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith…. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.” (Gal. 3:14,17,18).

Paul exalts the Father’s promised Spirit of His Son through faith in His Son. Then Paul shifts to another perspective of this science.

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; …
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” (Gal. 3:19,22-26).

God has always had His Law. Genesis 18:19 shows that Abraham understood the Law of God through his faith experience with the Lord God of the Hebrews. But until the confrontation with Lucifer in heaven the Law, although it was known to exist, it wasn’t known by letters or in writing. It was known by God’s ever-present Spirit upon their hearts and minds. The same “Spirit of [the] Father” (Matt. 10:20) continuously guided the thoughts and actions of the angelic hosts and inhabitants of the worlds. And they all loved to have it so. Likewise was it with Abraham and all the patriarchs. It wasn’t necessary for God to boldly and blazingly present to them a stone hard Law because they knew their Father in heaven, and loved to obey Him.

Rebels have forced God to present precepts in thunder and lightning, and in their face. Insolence required such an in-your-face presentation, if, by all means, hopefully the rebels would back down from their eternal destruction. Even a “ministration of death”, a “ministration of condemnation” (2Cor, 3:7,9), was necessary to save rebellious men. God must make His case plain, not in order to cover His back in Judgment Day, but in order to give every possibility for the rebel to come to repentance and be spared from damnation. Nevertheless, He will be in-your-face to every one of us if we push Him because He is talking to Satan through us.

“Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.” (Job 38:1-4).

But this was not necessary for the Hebrew patriarchs. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph and his brothers all of whom knew heart surrender and peace with God. They had all been tested and they passed the test by humiliation and repentance. They accepted guilt and shame. They knew conviction of sin, and surrendered to its humbling self into the dust. Self-justification did not enter, and salvation reigned in Israel’s holy first generation family after confessing the great sin of selling Prime Minister Joseph into Egyptian slavery.

“My covenant was with [Levi] of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared Me, and was afraid before My name. The Law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with Me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.” (Mal. 2:5,6).

This is the experience of the YouTube testifiers. Like a great cloud of witnesses, they have borne the brunt of consequences for their disobedience, while they were kept under the Deuteronomy 28 curse of the Law. They were shut up to the faith that later would result from the harsh consequences of their curse. In patience and faith they have sought the YouTube testifiers’ Creator and Redeemer from all sin, all the while being hounded by their old masters.

Even if they never knew theology or the Bible, faith’s innate hoping in Jesus’ mercy kept them trudging along their dark path, following up on every evidence of the goodness of God.

Like a child in the womb, or on its way down the birth canal, knows very little of what is happening around it, these YouTube witnesses in the blind, seeing “through a glass, darkly” (1Cor. 13:12), were being carried to their Saviour. Like the people bringing blind Bartemaeus to Jesus, the angels were guiding these blind distraught ones to God with the encouragement, “Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee” (Mark 10:49), as “Jesus stood still, and commanded [them] to be called”.

Doubts bludgeoned them that they might actually be seeking a figment of their imagination. Guilt assaulted them that all their mustered faith might be all in vain, disregarded by the “Whoever You are, Wherever You are” Unknown God because , they “[see] Him not, neither [know] Him”. Fears harassed them that they might be forgotten of God and lost forever.

However, having lost hope in any earthly help, they found no other option. Miserable, devastated, poor, and still a great way off, these determined prodigals eventually saw the God of love move with lightning speed to catch them, sweep them up, and treat them like a war hero, wounded, and limping and totally exhausted.

It was as Jeremiah heard from Jesus as He spoke of the northern kingdom of Ephraim, “Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
Is Ephraim My dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore My bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.” (Jer. 31:19,20).

Likewise for these YouTube seekers, the heart of Jesus opened immediately at their pleas for His help.

During the long march home all pride dissipated, the only condition for full acceptance with God. Their self-will gradually left off its nagging and they are submissive to God’s unbending will. They accepted their punishment, knowing they deserved much worse. Thankful for the mercy of Christ, hope grew slowly with strength to move forward.

Likewise, faith in the mediating Son has been welling up where no faith was, and God’s justification descends upon them. Seeing the light of Christ’s love they are grateful to God for His condemnation and punishment. They are enthralled in the unmerited goodness from God. Forever they will strive to know this God better by studying His written word. They hear His voice from every page. Their Bible is a friend that they carry with them, daily building their knowledge base and fortifying their minds with truth.

They become authorities on the Bible, even if the whole world is atheistic, and few care to hear what they know. The anointing of Christ teaches them to piece together scriptural phrases to form powerful statements of truth that act as a two-edged sword. “If any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed” (Rev. 11:5). Per the words of  Jesus to Jeremiah:

“I will make My words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.” (Jer. 5:14). “Is not My word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jer. 23:29).

And per Jesus’ closing words at His ascension: “Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained”. Revelation shows their power: “These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.” (John 20:23; Rev. 11:6).

As Christ’s proven faithful, and thus only authorized representatives, the witness from the YouTube testifiers, accepted or rejected by their listeners, determines the eternal welfare of all to whom they preach. They rule over a defenseless world of sinners. “He that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father.” (Rev. 2:26,27).

And when Jesus returns in destructive power they will be the ones who personally welcome Him in His glory. “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” (Isa. 25:9).

Their reward will forever seem much greater than they could ever deserved in all of their service in His army of soldiers knighted by His anointing Spirit. His home will be their home. “And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.” (Isa. 25:6).

They will sit at the gate of His sanctuary of strength. Never again will a sin nature pull on their yearning to be like Jesus, that mysterious power of iniquity that separated them from His presence. “And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isa. 25:7,8).

The YouTube witnesses never looked back since the holy Spirit of Christ saved them from their world of sin. And they never will.
