“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

A YouTube very clear explanation of the only way to fill the God-sized hole in our hearts

Here’s a talk from a 3-month-old baby Christian. But, she sounds like a 24 year Christian veteran. It’s amazing how deep a baby Christian can be in the knowledge of experience. Truly, “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise.” (Matt. 21:16). As it was said of their Master it can be said of them, “In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of Thy youth.” (Ps. 110:3).

Newborns in Christ have the eternal life birthing experience fresh and clear in the memory. The details, the ability to clearly articulate, the life and power and inspiration behind the articulation, turn their expressions into the living word. As they speak the inspired word of the Father their words, in His desired order, come alive through His Spirit, which He put in them through His Son, their Saviour and Creator and Messiah.

For a long time now I’ve realized that a woeful, condemning God is the one who brings us to His Son for His mercy. We would never need grace otherwise. And we would therefore would never be reconciled to the kingdom of God. God has to force His grace on us, or we could never be saved. That’s a wonderful thought.

But, it’s actually a little more complicated than that, and a little harder for Him to accomplish. In order for God to be just as a justifier, per Romans 3:26, we need to sense His seriousness toward obeying His written Law, or we need to feel the heat of His wrath against our sins in consequence to our disobedience. Everything about the Almighty is super-serious and POWERFUL. His Law is big, and so are His consequences. But big trouble, hardship, and threat are what the stubborn devils and the fallen human soul must hear in order to pry us loose from sin. “GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN: THOU ART AN OFFENCE UNTO ME: FOR THOU SAVOUREST NOT THE THINGS THAT BE OF GOD, BUT THOSE THAT BE OF MEN.” (Matt. 16:23).

But, once we are humbled and trembling and repentant and crying, once we are made willing “in the day of His power” (Ps. 110:3), He immediately brings us to His Son “that we might be justified by faith” (Gal. 3:24). And immediately, “the Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Rom. 8:16, cf Jer. 31:20), because “God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into [our] hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” (Gal. 4:6, cf Jer. 31:18,19).

“The Spirit Itself maketh intercession for us with groanings [sighing] which cannot be uttered.” (Rom. 8:26).
“I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself [deploring oneself, shaking the head in sorrow, mourning] thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn Thou me, and I shall be turned; for Thou art the LORD my God….
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more….
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.” (Jer. 31:18,33,34,40).
We are freed from enslavement to Satan. “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2Cor. 3:17).

The Law is tough, as our great God is tough. That is why He writes in stone rather than on paper or papyrus. What He has to say is in no uncertain terms and it is immutable. His volume is always on highest of high. His font is always shouting. But, our humbled hearts are happy for His attention. We have sucked honey from rock, and olive oil from flinty rock. The Father’s attention would be destructive if it weren’t for His Son as our shield. The Son took the Father’s entire vehement wrath against our arrogant rebellion. In Gethsemane and on cross all of the Father’s offense and disagreeableness toward our wretchedness He poured upon His beloved equally divine, pure Son.

And the Son took it all. He had so identified with us all, slain by our hard-heartedness since the beginning, as only infinite love can do, that He never moved aside for a moment to allow even a little of His greater Father’s convicting wrath to hit past Him. The Saviour never dodged any divine retribution. Jesus, the Son of God, is our complete Shield and Shelter. As aweful as it was, Jesus was glad to take all of the Father’s withholden retribution, for our sinful sakes. The most wretched and most distant from God can, trusting in His Son, be covered from further condemnation.

As our great red Heifer, His soul was burned to ash. Then God exalted Him to be our great High Priest. Under infinite rejection, He poured out His soul unto infinite death, in order to be qualified to pour out infinite grace upon His surrendering children unto life eternal.

Now Christ can advocate for us, “made an High Priest for ever” (Heb. 6:20). He is our screen, our spiritual electronic grid from the wrath of His hurting Father. Jesus filters and transforms His Father’s destructive injunction into constructive instruction in righteousness, and into loving correction and earnest reproof. Through Christ’s Spirit, in His presence, is fullness of joy and wisdom, assurance and hope, strength for the day, every day if we keep Him in our thought and words.

This joy and peace is what this new daughter of God loves to speak of. She tells of the presence of Christ that is the only remedy for today’s depression and anxiety. The sad condition of the world today, and especially in the Christian west, comes from our disconnection from the God of the apostoles and our Reformation fathers, from the God of Abraham and from the God of Noah. If we will come to the Law of God and face the music, then and only then will we receive the Father’s fullness of justice. That hard, unbending, Law will give us cause to repent and receive His salvation.

The only other road to His repentance and salvation is to live without His Law, and then reap the heaping consequences for disobedience under the devils’ dogmatic rule. When we repent, then for our healing from the devils’ tormenting and emptiness, the Father brings us to Christ to be justified by faith. They may have never seen the Law of God and all of its principles, but for those who have learned the consequences of breaking the Law, they are equally worthy of acceptance and pardon. “All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6:37). “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35). Those who have been humbled and trusting in the mighty Hand of punishment, just like those who were humbled by hearing His voice in the Law, He gives them His “fullness of joy and…pleasure for evermore”. (Ps. 16:11).

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord [His time for acceptance].” (Luke 4:18,19).

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.” (Isa. 61:3).

Here is our new daughter of the Most High God:

“Hi guys. So recently I’ve been talking to my very close friend who suffers from anxiety and depression. I too have suffered from this in the past and I wanted to make a video here today to talk about how we can move forward with this, a way we can really find improvement in our lives, and a way to get out of this dark hole, this void, that so many of us experience.

So let’s begin by talking about the void. Though science can’t prove it, and it can’t be measured, a lot of us, probably most of us, if not all of us, know that this exists. This seemingly never-ending chase to fulfill this hunger for stuff that’s never, never quite satisfied. You know?

We feed it [this unsatisfied void] with things like drugs, material things, alcohol, TV, porn, sex, relationships, shopping[, and eating], just, I mean, anything we can do to distract ourselves from feeling this void there [in the heart], we will do it.

So, yeah, and so there’s lots of us that think, ‘Well maybe if I have the next technology then I’ll be happy. Maybe if I have the latest car, or a big house, or all of these possessions, maybe then I’ll be satisfied.’ But you find that a lot of these people that have attained all these things still aren’t satisfied happy. You know, you see it in Hollywood. These celebrities that are living the dream, but they, a lot of them end up being depressed, or even some of them have taken their lives. So it just shows when you get to that level and you’ve attained all the things that you can ever think would satisfy this void, and you get there and then you realize that you still are not satisfied, this can be very disheartening.

So we’re looking into all of these things to do temporary fixes, temporary relief from this void, this never-ending hunger for entertainment or distraction, so you don’t have to experience it, you don’t have to feel that empty, hollow [lack of] peace within.

So, when we turn to these things over and over again it becomes an addiction to things, and these temporary fixes with things like substances, you know you’d have more of it to have the same high, the same relief as you had before, so you always need more and more. So, this ends up with that void that you end up returning to always, because it’s always there. This ends up becoming a bigger void. And this can be really destructive for us.

So this external substances or products that are used in a way to fulfill this inner suffering, this never-ending chase, this ever ends well. You mean, I mean look at consumerism today, and look at the statistics for people with anxiety and depression. It’s going up. You know, we’re always needing the newest thing, something to consume, but it’s not fulfilling us. And depression and all of this is on the rise in our society. And you’d think with such an advance in technology and in all of the things that we can attain—you know, we’ve got access to so much right now. But yet the depression and anxiety is on the rise.

So this just shows that these worldly things can’t really feed and satisfy that void fully. So we know that these things [worldly fixes] just can’t cut it. You know. We’ve literally tried everything.

So what does this void require, do you think? You know, if you have a look at it by its very nature, it’s not a physical thing [cause of the ailment], it’s spiritual. And it’s limitless in its way about it. It’s never-ending. It can never be satisfied. So it’s, it’s always going.

So, ever wonder if we aren’t the ones who can fill this void? You know, we’ve tried everything on this earth, and it doesn’t seem to work. So, perhaps by its very nature this void requires something spiritual and eternal, something also never-ending, which is our eternal God. Right? Our Creator.

So maybe, just maybe our Creator left a little piece missing inside of us so that when we come to Him He can make Himself where this missing piece once was, and we can instantly know Him. Is that a big claim? Maybe. But this whole phrase of, “Only God can fill the void”, this isn’t what I’ve just come up with. In fact this has happened to me. And many, many, many people everywhere around the world will tell you the same thing. That missing piece, that void, God fills that.

So, bear with me, those of you who don’t believe in God. Please, I pray that you just keep on going, keep on listening. Please, I pray you have an open heart and mind and ears to just listen, and hear me out.

So you know, the void, science can’t prove, and science can’t measure. Well, the same with those of us who experienced the void being fulfilled by God. You know, science won’t prove it [God satisfying our fullness]; it can’t measure it. But, it’s happening. It just is the case. So how can this be for you? How can this be the case for you?

Well, I suggest to start with, we need to find our original Creator to know where this missing piece is. Right? And I think that is pretty much most of the battle, to find out who our original Creator is. To ask Them into us, to then to have our void filled.

And I think literally everything on this earth is designed to distract you from knowing the truth or to deceive you, or just to keep you away from knowing the original Creator of us.

So I’m here today to tell you our Creator is Jesus Christ. Obviously, don’t take my word for anything. Go and do your own research, but I just need to say it. Jesus Christ is exactly who He says He is in the scripture. He is the truth, the way, and the life. This is what He claims to be and it truly is who He is. He also says He is the Word of God, that He is the living Word. Now, the Quran will even tell you that Jesus is the Word of God. But, we’re not going to get into that too much, because we’d then go into a bit of a detour.

But, so bear in mind Jesus is the Word of God. And He says He’s the Word, He’s the living Word. And He died and was raised again because He is life. Now what do we find in the Bible?

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him; and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life.” (John 1:1-4).

So I’m here to tell you guys that our Creator is Jesus Christ. He is the one you call upon for this void to be transformed. And I’ll talk to you now about how this happens. So we’ve gone through that He is the Word and the Word is God. So He is the Grand Architect of everything. He created you. He created you perhaps with that missing piece that He can fill.

And how can this happen? How can He transform your life? Well, Jesus Christ can transform your life through faith alone. Right? It’s literally that simple. But it just is very difficult for us humans to not have that resistance in us that we’re programmed from the very beginning to feel. You know, everything around us is against surrendering your heart to Jesus. You look at the music industry, for one. The music videos are just horrendous.

So, what am I saying here then? OK, yes, so sorry, through faith alone you find Him. So I’m just going to mention John 3:16. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” So it’s all about believing in Jesus. That’s how this transformation happens. That’s how this void is filled.

Now, you say, ‘Maybe there’s resistance in belief in Jesus, or having that faith, taking that leap of faith with Him.’ You know, for those of you that are from a background that is very scientific, and you believe in evolution, I’d just like you think for a minute, and just question yourselves. Isn’t that belief as well? Aren’t you taking a leap of faith to believe that we evolved from a rock or from apes? And so I’d just really, I would love it if you could really take a leap of faith into trusting and believing in the Creator, rather than creation. Because it’s like, if you believe in evolution, you’re kind of trying to figure out how this intelligent design, how this computer, was built without the person that built the computer, without the programmer.

You know, you’re looking inside the computer trying to understand how it came to being. That’s a massive leap of faith to think that it just was. You know, in the beginning, there was God. And so, I just want to talk about once you give your heart to Jesus, and how He transforms your heart, and how this ties in with the void being filled.

So, in Ezekiel, He talks about this, bear with me, it says here:

‘A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.’ (Eze. 36:26,27).

So, you know, God’s saying how He will put His Spirit inside of you. So, if we are talking about this void that needs something of the Spirit that is eternal to be able to fill the void, He’s talking about that right there. He’s saying He will put His Spirit within you. He will transform your heart. And this is what has happened to so many of us. And it’s a supernatural experience to finally feel content. For me I knew it was a spiritual thing before. I knew no material objects would fill my void. But still with the spiritual stuff I was seeking the wrong spiritual stuff, and it was leading me into some really dark places.

So, you know this changing of our hearts and God putting His Spirit in us happens through belief in Jesus Christ as our Messiah, that He died for our sins and He rose again because He is the Lord of life.

It also says, I’ve got another little verse we’re here, just to confirm what I just said again. I mean it just constantly says the same thing over and over again throughout the Bible, and it’s always foreshadowing Jesus. It’s just incredible. It’s so multi-dimensional, the text. It really is the living word. So in Ephesians 3:16 it says... Oh no, start in verse 14. It’s very pretty.

‘For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.’ (Eph. 3:14-19).

So there is so much of a transformation that happens when you come to Christ and you give Him your heart. That’s why you are called, ‘born again’. And there’s so much to talk about that, as well. Jesus says you must be born again to even see the kingdom of God.

So for me when I let go of all resistance and I accepted Jesus, He washed me. He really did. I mean we all have bad times still. You know, we’re in this world. It’s a fallen world. There’s things all the time that are bad that you have to deal with. But my anxiety and depression has dramatically, dramatically lowered, because I know the Lord. I know He’s with me.

And so there’s a beautiful song, actually, I think this is originally in psalms, and it says here: ‘He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.’ (Ps. 40:2,3).

So He’s saying there, how He takes us out of the miry clay. We’re in this swamp and we don’t know where to go. And we’re being chased by the enemy. And it’s all-consuming. But He pulls us out of there. He sets us on a rock. He establishes a new song in our heart for Him because we feel Him in there now. That void is gone. He’s there.

So I just wanted to say that this is for everyone if you are willing to just give Him a go, just give Him a chance. And yeah, so, it’s another thing I want to say, as we all go through hardships still; but when you walk through life, and you have these struggles and things can get you down, you’re not alone when you’ve accepted Jesus. You know He’s there, and you’re walking with Him. He gives you so much strength! He really does!

And there’s another verse here. I should probably be saying the names and chapters. I’ll write that at the bottom of the video then. We’ve got Matthew 11:30 here. And He says, “Come unto Me…” This is Jesus talking. He says, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek [gentle] and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)

You know, you come to Jesus and everything is just so much easier. Everything is just... You are not in the darkness any more. You are not darkness any more. So because Christ has this power to answer our prayers and fill this void and walk with us and dwell within us, put His Spirit in us—all of these amazing things that happens as a Christian and a walk with knowing the true Creator of everything, all the supernatural things that occur. Of course they’re going to occur, we’ve found the Creator! He’s incredible. He’s incredible. There’s so many accounts of things that have happened that are just, just beyond [our comprehension]. So I just wanted to say that that may be why there so many Christians that are willing to die for their faith. Because it’s so true. It’s so answered and clarified and true that you can’t not see the truth any more. So you’re willing to die for your faith because you’re willing to die for your Creator. Because of course you are, you know Him. And so why wouldn’t you die for your Father, if you love Him? You know, just like you’d die for anyone in your family because you love them. When you find God and you know your Father, you’re going to die for your Father. Aren’t you?

And so there’s just one last little thing I wanted to read in Galatians 5:11 [actually verses 22 and 23]. And that is the fruits of the Spirit. So…. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness [kindness], goodness, faith[fullness], meekness [gentleness], temperance [self-control]: against such there is no law.” (Gal. 5:22,23). So this just shows that as a Christian, knowing the Creator brings you so much joy, so much contentment in your heart, just the power to transform, and just do amazing things in your life. Really. And so I pray for everyone who has not come to Christ yet. I really pray that you seek Jesus because He can do anything. He can really work wonders in your life and do incredible healing in your life, as He has for me. And you don’t have to go alone any more. You’ve never been alone….”
