“Oh, the unspeakable greatness of that exchange,—the Sinless One is condemned, and he who is guilty goes free; the Blessing bears the curse, and the cursed is brought into blessing; the Life dies, and the dead live; the Glory is whelmed in darkness, and he who knew nothing but confusion of face is clothed with glory.”

Bachus crucified?

I don’t know the date of this artifact, whether it was pre- or post-Christian era. I did a quick surf for it on the internet, but found nothing. I did find people who believe that the Judeo-Christian religion to be a borrowed one, borrowed from paganism.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all that Satan could have known of the plan of redemption, and preempted it in the rebellion of Ham, Cush (Bachus), and Nimrod/Semiramis, a century or so after the flood. It also wouldn’t surprise me if he wouldn’t have added to and reinforced his arsenal of deception by inspiring individuals after the Christ’s death to combine His crucifixion with those ancient pagan traditions.

Satan has ever used the tactic, “If you can’t convince them, confuse them.” Certainly some apparent similarities to Christianity brought to bear by the pagan religions has created much confusion.

Many people today see connections between the story that comes from the whole Bible, and myths created by the devil. Intellect alone has never proved a true compass when navigating the paths of truth. The knowledge of good and evil have been Satan’s territory since we fell into his hands. Faith in the God of love and righteousness have ever been the only safe guides to hear God’s voice.

Purity, selflessness, working hard to serve God and man, loving God with all the body, mind, and heart, have been the only real source of truth. Every other method to arrive at truth has led into separation from God, into darkness, and into further control by the power of temptation and sin.
